Today, 22-Jan-2026, had a very bad experience with the coles store manager who looked very rigid and didn’t believe in “Genuinely care” attitude for the customer’s need and circumstances.nNot sure if he’s tightly constrained by company policies then coles management is responsible, or his personality.nHope management investigate further to improve customer experience further.
I'm posting here as I've tried online and seem to be getting no where. Deliveries are constantly late, incorrect and meat almost at expiry. I've always supported coles being a previous employee, but unfortunately will no longer. I've been let down too many times. This team need to do better.
I like this store. When strawberries are near the point of decomposing, selling 3 packs for $5 is a bad decision as a way of getting rid of them because customers will get home and throw them in the bin and have a bad feeling that the store is passing on liability rather than managing the freshness of products. Putting them on special earlier is a smarter move all around to avoid waste and achieve customer satisfaction. Give it some thought... The one star is to attract your attention “to whom it may concern”. There were also some apples on the shelf which were totally rotten when I picked them up. I’ll leave a better rating when the situation changes and there is a bit more care and diligence in that department.
This coles hardly ever pick up the call in one go, always have to call multiple times. Not sure how staff rotations and responsibilities are managed at this store.
Large store, a bit too large in some respects, but not if you're used to shopping in Coles I guess. They had a very large variety and the prices were competitive against those of Safeway and IGA, bu maybe only because quite a few of the items I was after were discounted. I'll shop there again!
