Coene's Bar & Eatery

We ate there on a lovely sunny day. The view is gorgeous. Great service and friendly staff. My meal however was very plain with no flavor. The steak with creamed sweetcorn and garlic was just that - a piece of sirloin on a can of tinned sweetcorn with a creamy sauce. The sauce was nice but not enough to make tinned corn flavorsome or interesting. The steak was cooked medium rare as requested but was very tough and chewy. Very disappointing.

Love it here! I'll probably go to Coene's once every couple of weeks. Lovely views, food, drinks and staff. Just book if you're thinking about going on a Friday or Saturday night. It's a popular place so it get s busy!

Good food, great service, lovely views. Cater very well for people with gluten allergies. Would definitely go back again!

Excellent food. Wait staff friendly but not that smart... edamame is a vegetable, not a cheese (!!), and knowledge of wine matches would've been helpful. No serving utensils provided with sharing plates. Really nice, just a bit under par for such an expensive place. Two course meal with drinks for two cost $152.

I had really bad experience in this place. We were waiting to be seated at 10am 11th Mar , but no one taking to the seat. I saw 4 wait staffs working and 3 of them noticed we are standing there. They were serving other people so we were waiting until they finish their job. Then they just ignored us doing other things and wondering around us. My feedback about this place is Staff: 1. maybe stupid enough 2. Not professional 3. Maybe racists Food : no bother to try Location: great
