Club Mmm! Day Spa

I have come to club mmm spa a few times before and have been fairly happy with the treatments. Unfortunately, when I came in for a Spa manicure and Spa pedicure I left feeling very disappointed. Sarah my beautician, did a very poor job at tidying my figure nails and an even poorer job at painting them. I got home and removed the paint immediately and spent the next 30minutes evening out the shape. I tried to ask her to fix them at the time but she didn't seem to understand me. She did do a better job on my pedicure but sent me out before they had dried even a little. They got spots of dust and fluff in them from the walk from the spa to my car. Overall a very sad experience, as it cost me $120 and two hours of my time sitting in a pretty uncomfortable chair.

Would give 0 stars if I could So I visited Spa MMM, today for an eyebrow shape and tint. I had very light blonde eyebrows with quite long hair after not being waxed for over 6 months, and not being tinted for over 10 year. I was asked what colour I wanted and I stated I wanted a dark blonde, just so they can been seen. I was encouraged to go a light brown. I was asked if she could use scissors, I replied yes as my hair is very long. The waxing begun, it was painless and seemed to be going well - the music was lovely and relaxing. Before long I was told she had finished and given a mirror to look in, which she held making it very difficult to see, also my eyes were very watery from just being waxed, although I noticed my eyebrows were very dark. Very shaken at having these dark eyebrows I paid and went to the car. I looked in my car mirror and to my horror, my eyebrows were patchy, too dark, and uneven. I returned and complained to the waxer who took me back into the room. I was asked which eyebrow I liked - I said I don't like either, but I at least want them to match, she nodded and tried to fix my eyebrows. She reapplied tint to make them less patchy and told me to wash the dye off later that night. As I had now been there so long I had to leave for school pick up. I was told to come back next Friday and she would apply more dye. Crying I went to the car. When I got home I washed my eyebrows, as I was worried leaving the dye on so long would make them even darker. Sadly this is when I noticed half of my eyebrows have been removed, making them appear ridiculously short in length. Furthermore, they are still not even. I start a new job in 4 days and I am absolutely humiliated. My husband phoned to speak with a manager and was told we had to wait until tomorrow as none were there. Update: Clum MMM's manager Kim, after seeing my eyebrows or lack there of has offered ongoing tinting until my eyebrows finally grow back, as well as a facial with her.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I had the Spa Retreat Pack at 9am on Saturday 5th August. The lady I had was 15 minutes late. When in the room she almost completely forgot the disposable underwear for me. The robe I put on felt damp and didn't smell pleasant. When in the sauna I was interrupted by the lady twice; once to hand me water, then she opened the door later to check on me. If she was on time and prepared for me she would have had the water ready prior to me getting in, and rather than open the door to check on me just gesture! Being in a single person sauna you're letting all the heat out by opening the door, so what is the point of making the sauna part of the package if you're just going to open the door all the time?!?!? The massage was underwhelming. Didn't focus on any areas, it was basically like I was just getting my skin touched and that was it. It also seemed like she was more focused on making the sheets straight rather than actually massage me! She must have straighter up the sheets more than actually try to massage me!! When getting the facial it seemed she was in a rush and I didn't realised until when I was home that I still had clay on my face! The pedicure was also rushed and I had the soft part on the side of my foot veiny part, inner foot area scrubbed which really hurt! When I was placed in the room after to let my toenails dry I was then asked what I would like to eat/drink. It took a further 5-10 minutes to get that prepared. Surely this could have been asked/organise while I was getting my pedicure so I could just get into the room to enjoy the food/drink. When handed my food/drink I was asked how it was; the lady didn't bother to let me reply, she started talking over me as I started talking, saying she would leave me until my toes should be dry and check back! I'm no expert on pedicures but I'm pretty sure the soft part of the foot shouldn't be scrubbed with that sandpaper contraption, nor should 4 thick layers of nail polish be slapped on the nail as it's now just gathered really badly into clumps. Only after I had paid was I asked how it was by the front receptionist and I informed the receptionist it wasn't good, at all! I was offered an email with the possibility of another Spa Retreat Pack to make up for the poor experience I had. I'm still waiting on this email... At this point, if I even get an email, I'd just like my money back and an explanation for how a paying customer can be treated so poorly for a service that's supposed to relax them, not aggravate, physically hurt and upset them!

Paid for an infrared sauna, was met with a poorly setup, uncomfortable setting, small electric sauna, there was no light therapy whatsoever. False advertsing. The music that was playing sounded like I was in a haunted house as the music continued to start, stop and crackle through the speakers. Not relaxing. The sauna never reached the temperature it was set at after being on for an hour. There was one towel provided in the sauna so when it comes time to rinsing off I had to dry myself off with the sweaty sauna towel. When I told the receptionist about the music I was met with a cold “well you should have come told me”. What, was I meant to walk out, covered in sweat, in my swimmer, past all the people in the rehab pool which was located just next to the electric sauna, not much privacy, out to the reception to tell someone! This was a bad experience.

Gosh this place has never let me down, every time i go in for a treatment they always achieve exactly what i want especially my eyebrows as they always need to be on point, and are always kind enough to let me know what would be the best idea for my ever so sensitive clogged skin ahhaha will always go back there :

The hydrotherapy facilities are fabulous with easy access to the pool. Staff are wonderful and friendly. Limited mobility parking spots makes it difficult if you are in a wheelchair.

I am absolutely horrified by this place being allowed to do business by locals and the government in Canberra. I've seen door knobs with more skills!! To add insult to injury, the manager - some oaf called Alexandra Humbersis - is Margaret Thatcher's alter ego - in other words, she is a horror story on two legs. She not only insulted me and my family, but also defended her cavemanship and uncivilised behaviour. I hate the place and strongly recommend that you take only your enemies there ...

had a Micro Hydro brasion treatment the other day. It was great and on special too! Thinking of buying a gift voucher for my daughters 21st soon she will love it.

I received the Spa Retreat Pack as a gift for Christmas. OMG. It was amazing. Thank you. I really needed to unwind and start the new year a fresh. Thank you for kickstarting my 2016. xxx

Just had the most amazing microhydrabrasion at Club MMM day spa, a must for every female. The staff are friendly, informative and very accommodating. Highly recommend Club MMM.
