I made a claim with Club Marine fully expecting it would be a long drawn out process, as unfortunately, that has been my general experience in dealing with other insurance companies. The service I was provided from the first call to their authorisation of the claim could be described as nothing less than outstanding and a credit to everybody involved. I am currently dealing with some far more important issues in my life than making an insurance claim, which I fully expected would cause me additional grief. In fact this experience has actually done quite the opposite, as something has finally gone right for us. So thanks again Club Marine, you have been a silver lining to what has otherwise been a very dark cloud.

i had to give 1 star to post this review otherwise they would get no stars from me. This was the worst ever experience i have had with any insurance policy, i was stuck on the water and they did nothing at all to help me, i had to get my watercraft from seaford to mordialloc which was half submerged in water all on my own, i risked my life by trying to drive it back along the shore line so i wouldn't sink in deep waters. when i called they were wondering how to get my trailer to me when the main reason of my call was the jet ski was submerged in water so trailer wasn't going to help in any way, they didn't know what to do or how to get the watercraft out of the water, i received no follow up call to see if everything was OK or if i got the ski out of the water nothing at all, very poor service and bad customer service withdrawing my policy from them and going elsewhere. don't insure with them they are the worst, they simply dont care what was happening to me or my jet ski.

UPDATE:
After this bad experience on the weekend I called the insurance company to lodge a complaint about the poor service I received and it only gets worse, I asked to speak to the manager of the cmplaints department and was told I will get a call back from a person named sue which never happen d and 3 days later I'm still waiting. Such bad service so now it's in the hands of my legal team.

WORST SERVICE, WORST EXPERIENCE, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

An ongoing dispute with Club Marine, Policy Claim No.: VMC74218 
Date of Loss 01/09/2012 and this insurer can think they can walk away from paying a claim. My boat was slipped for a month and we could not conduct repairs while Club Marine were "approving" my claim. They turned around declined my claim after a month of stuffing around.  I've had enough and appointed one of the best law firms in Sydney to pursue this company. A letter of demand has been issued, You just have to google club marine reviews to see how bad this insurer is.
