I went there shopped, when I pay my items. The sales Isobel was so nice and friendly, she checked me if I am there member. I thought I was, but she said it is okay that she can apply one for me and I can get 20% off for next purchase for full price item. So I get my sandals for 20% off Thanks her, she also mentioned the member rewards information to me. She is wonderful Like her work attitude
Had the pleasure of being served today by Krystal. What outstanding service. Such a lovely young lady. She could not do more to help us. Great job city beach on having such lovely staff. 10/10 service and prices are great too. I’ll definitely be back!!!
Don't get me wrong.I've been in a lot of city beach stores. But Watertown has to be the worst. I can't believe there are selling clothing with women's makeup all over it. Some at full price or half price. When I went in there. I was amazed how much clothing had makeup Staines on them.
After selecting our items, my daughter and I lined up behind another couple waiting to purchase their stuff. There was already a customer with the assistant at the checkout & there were no other customers lined up anywhere else. The assistant, after serving the customer, then told us all to go to the other end of the counter as that was the entry, yet there were no signs to indicate this. By this time there were several other customers at the other end who must have lined up well after we did. This store seems to me to be very disorganised.
I called the store to ask if they stocked a certain item as I didn't want to drive all the way there if they didn't. I had previously visited the dfo branch as their website had stated they had this item in stock but the manager said they didn't, and the website wasn't up to date! I was told by the sales assistant on the phone at Watertown that she couldn't tell me what they stocked in store over the phone! I explained I didn't want to drive all the way there and I she could just tell me if they stocked this particular item. Again I was told it was against company policy to tell me what they stocked! I was shocked and appalled at this lack of customer service!
I wish there was an option of no stars because honestly I was harassed and humiliated. And racially profiled as well. I mean you spend your hard-earned money and get bad treatment. The staff is very unhelpful and rude. I was wrongfully accused of shoplifting just because the person found 2 plastic tags on the floor of my trial room. My bags were checked, which is fine, the person was just doing his job. But he didn't even apologize after this. Still said 2 tags were found on the floor of the trial room. I mean really?? Atleast accept your mistake, own up to it and apologise. If you do not have basic human decency, I am sorry but you won't get very far in life. Honestly, I won't be back or ever suggest this store to my friends and family.
City beach are more interested in the managers doing paperwork and the staff stocking up than they are serving customers. Saturday afternoon, one cashier on. 3 staff doing nothing. Every time I go to city beach it happens so I just had to write this seeing as they can't get it right
Came in on the off chance of finding a hat of a particular style that I like. They did. However I entered the line to checkout and it was not moving. Only two positions of many were open. Lots of staff were on the shop floor but not at the tills. When people were served at the till, the staff invariably didn't remove the tags off their purchases so other customers were setting off the alarm and distracting staff at the tills so that the staff could remove the tags. This lead to me missing my bus. If the staff had more support on the tills, this would not have been a problem.
Had a really unpleasant experience at this shop. I came in looking for shoes and jumpers and had a staff member follow me around the store and another staff member search my bag. Completely disgusting treatment for a person willing to spend their money on this business. Completely unacceptable behavior from staff in this establishment.
The young staff were very lazy, it took ages to be served, I asked questions and they didn't know the answer, made mistakes and did not want to serve me. I was there for over an hour and I tried to speak to the different staff but none were helpful, the girl was a little better than the boys. Train your staff please. Was there on a Monday.
