There’s a bun shop at the front of the store called Cutie puffs running by a middle aged couple. They have a variety of fillings to choose for the buns - beef, pork, vegetables, red bean, etc. I wish the buns are warmer so it would taste nicer. Soy milk is also okay. They do accept cards but sometimes the machine doesn’t work properly so it might take a while…
The bun shop outside cutie puff is sooo good! The buns come steamed with delicious fillings, my favourite is the mushroom and chicken I highly recommend. Also, everything is super cheap with the buns being $2.5 each!! Very friendly service too :
I love this place a lot. The staffs are friendly, I just see the comment here. I was also there last morning. TBH, there is another Asian super market just near by in the world sqaure which also charges the extra fee for the cold drink. I don't really mind to pay extra fee if there is a sign so I think there is no issues for it. If someone wants to get same prices for cold one, that is kind of unfair to me since I always pay the right price. This is kind of ridiculous to me. If you could not see the product you want or you don't agree with the price you could just walk away. You could not force store to finish the deal as you like. It is my first time to hear about this interesting view in my business life. The staff was really kind and polite to do their duty at counter. I just found out that customer a little kind of out of her mind. I feel sorry I did not help that staff that moment. Since I really love this store and their staff. If I bumped into this interesting customer I gonna tell her to pay the extra fee or just leave alone. BTW, thank you for Citi Super always provides me the good services and nice music to enjoy the shopping time. Well done!!
I have been here a few times! The service is not amazing but the food is! It’s got my favourite salted egg potato/fish skin chips There are so many varieties of snacks and food there! I even bought some instant ramen with Tteokbokki they have delicious desserts and so many Asian drinks! I am obsessed! Since I can’t travel to Singapore, I can purchase the chippies at this shop!!! Maybe improve in customer service!
Good Asian grocery very close to town hall station. They don't sell kitchen and plasticware as much now, but still have most of the snacks, sauce, condiments and all the foods related things.
This store take in fridge fee which is $0.5 for a drink more than 1.5L which I have first never heard in any store in Sydney. And then I went in this morning to ask for a drink that is not in the fridge but there was non that is in normal temperature and so I asked her if I could get the cold ones but not take the $0.5 cu I don’t have a choice. The girl shouted at me and told me either pay the $0.5 or don’t buy. I asked for the manager and she was not willing to give me the phone number. Her attitude was horrible. She wore a black eyeglass wearing in grey and had a string hanging her phone.
Never been to an asian grocery store where the staff are this nice and helpful. Well done folks.
You can find out many kind of different Asian products.
My go-to for anything Asian - pre-made, fresh baked buns, microwavable or instant foods, ingredients for cooking. Decent freezer sections. Highly recommend even for a browse
Grocery store with oriental speciality. A small selection of fresh vegetables. Inside is a bigger collections of tinned & prepackaged food from Chinese to South East Asian regions. Varies from prepackaged spices to condiments to general grocery. Very quiet here and staffs looked bored. Not once was I greeted when I visited. It's lined with endless aisles of mostly Asian food. I guess if you're looking for Asian grocery, this is a big store near Town Hall station underground walkway.
