Definitely a soul food Cafe. Interactive, pleasant and lovely staff made our lunch memorable today. Food is made with absolute artistry and you can taste the quality of ingredients in the freshness of your meal. Medium to high priced but worth every bite Makes for a great spot to enjoy a healthy meal alone or with friends. Seared tuna, corned beef Reuben and fries, loaded bowl, carrot cake, chocolate brownie was our menu of choice.
The risotto is so yummy. Full of flavor with great presentation. Staff are very friendly and efficient. I will come back again when I come to Hamilton next time.
It’s a little out of the way, but we have made the trip out to Cinnamon twice recently. We are always struck by the staff. They are all really friendly and helpful, but relaxed too. It gives the place a great atmosphere. The cabinet always has something nice in it. Though we usually end up eating off menus. Pretty decent coffee and hot chocolates to be had here too. My daughter loves their curly fries.
Nice cozy cafe! But I am sold at service, lovely staff, everyone smiles and greets you whether serving you or not. My coffee is a little cold most times but probably should ask for extra hot. Would recommend their orzo salad, it’s divine!!!

Good food, coffee and staff. Nice place to stop for something to eat or simply to have a coffee with friends. We came attracted by the pictures in the reviews and they didn't disappointed. Went on a Saturday and there were plenty of people, from every age.
Busy busy place specially on the morning. The staff is super great as they’d try their best to your drink ready asap. I loved the service, they were nice, friendly and welcoming. The vibe is nice and it has a great location
What a huge disappointment the male server was abrasive taking our plates without asking if we had finished then our unfinished fries we had not been asked if we were finished and we weren't we quickly finished our drinks b4 they were also taken. The meal YUCK for 25 dollars it was absolutely terrible I had the steak roll first cut was pure fat and certainly does not resemble a steak Philly my daughter had pork belly salad again terrible the pork was well and truly over done and although the food was terrible the waiter left a even worse impression won't recommend and will not be back
If I could give this place -stars I would! The absolute worst place I have eaten at in New Zealand. I will never eat there again. I ordered an eggs benedict, I specifically asked for the eggs to be "well done", properly cooked, and they were not only under done, they were raw and watery, I didn't even realize that was a thing... watery eggs. I complained and I wasn't offered a refund for my meal or even something complementary. Staff seems like they have no comprehension of customer service, almost annoyed by their patrons. There are amazing restaurants and bakery's in Hamilton, don't waste your money or your time at Cinnamon, not worth the fuel it took to drive there to be honest.
