Our vision to create a unique chocolate experience for all and an inspiring magical journey. To discover the rich, complex flavours of chocolate while sharing an unparalleled dinning experience. To combine New York aesthetics with our smooth sophisticated Melbourne style. This was our dream.

Chocolate Bar New York’s very first store is located in the luxury shopping precinct that is Melbourne Emporium, one of the biggest shopping centres in the country. Influenced by the style and art of New York, we create a range of chocolate experiences that also reflect our own melting pot of culture and taste.

Starting with the highest quality ingredients, such as luxurious Belgium Coverture chocolate, we source local products and manufactures who can work within our strict commitment to ethical and sustainable values.

We strive to create the perfect chocolate journey, we pride ourselves on the use of premium chocolate throughout all our products. Be it our exceptional hot chocolate, our range of house made Brownies and Cookies or our signature chocolate bars and pralines. All share a common ingredient; chocolate and our love of chocolate.

But the story doesn’t stop there. Our passion extends into coffee. Melbourne was chosen as our first home, specifically for its love of fine coffee. We work closely within Melbourne’s coffee community to source coffee with a conscience. We untied with iconic and talented roasters 5 Senses to enhance your experience at Chocolate Bar New York with a coffee committed to excellence and ethics. Our Barista's are trained at the Barista Academy to hone their amazing skills and to take your coffee experience to another level.

What is coffee without Pastry? A life half lived? We offer for your consumption our own hand made, baked on site, range of pastries. Made with the same passion and dedication to the craft that we display in all we do. Our NY inspired Brownies and Cookies are baked fresh, in our kitchen and are made with the same delicious chocolate that we share with you in our decadent drinks and chocolates.

But there’s another side to our chocolate experience. It’s all about balance. Our passionate Pastry chefs share their kitchen with some talented savoury chefs, who provide some truly delicious, NY inspired fare.
