My favorite cafe by far. My wife and I have been coming here for over 6 years, and it’s always been consistently amazing. The coffee is great, the food is always delicious, and the staff are truly the best—positive, friendly, and always happy. It’s the perfect way to start the morning. Highly recommend!
2nd visit to this cafe. Not going back. Food was mediocre and service was super ordinary. It’s a busy place mostly for coffees. But that’s no excuse for why our drinks arrived first and we then had to wait for almost 25 mins to get the food. I had to ask them how much longer it was going to take for the food to arrive. Then when it arrived, the young untrained waitress served us in a random abrupt manner with such a rush.nAll in all a negative experience. Pity because we went there purely to support local business. Else could have just made the same food at home for a significantly low cost and stress!
Enjoy a coffee were the locals go..private friendly atmosphere. Great coffee and selection of food. Feel is like you are in heart of Rowville. Manager Elizabeth provides friendly, great service!

I’ve always loved Cocoa Bean’s food and the lovely waitresses, but unfortunately, the main barista is consistently stand-offish and rude. Until today, I didn’t think it was serious enough to mention, but after what happened, I feel other mums with prams should be aware.nnI came in before 4:30 with my baby, and no one mentioned that prams weren’t welcome or that the space was closing off. About 15 minutes later, tables and chairs were moved to block the path, and when I tried to leave, no staff offered help — only another kind customer did.nnIt also appeared the main barista’s father or relative helping out shared the same attitude. As someone who’s worked in hospitality, I found the lack of communication and support really disappointing. I hope Cocoa Bean management reviews this, as it tarnishes an otherwise great café.
