This is a nice restaurant, I have been here a few times and each time the food is consistent, reasonably priced and well organised. The staff are friendly and welcoming. They do both eat in with BYO alcohol and takeaway. While there both options appeared to be popular for a Tuesday night. The food was nice and tasted fresh. We will for sure come back again. Wheel chair accessible and Al are welcome.
Hmmmm! The Sweet and Sour Pork was definitely sweet but Sour? It was not! And the Peking Duck in plum sauce was also sweeter than candyfloss. Certainly held no memories of recognisable Chinese cuisine for me. Not sure if it's aimed for those with a sweet tooth. The carpeted walls reminded me of the 1970's....Food: 1/5
It's like stepping back in time when you visit this old style Chinese restaurant that still has carpet on it's walls. The menu if Australian style Chinese dishes that was on the typical menu of restaurants of this ilk in the 70's and 80's. We thoroughly enjoyed the Szechuan Prawns, Sizzling Beef and fried rice we had during our visit. All the dishes were mighty tasty and staff were friendly and attentive.
First class cooking. Mongolian beef the best I've ever tasted! Couldn't eat if all so we took the leftovers home for supper. Very helpful waiter. Little 20 month old was supervising operations. Kept all staff on their toes and customers entertained!
I love the ambience in these restaurant. A good ace to eat chinese food. The serving is huge, price is reasonable.
Welcoming and good food. Shop is designed for take away and delivery. There is a small space if you would like to eat there. They have packed so much in such a small space. I ate outside Central Railway Station as there is a little bit of grass there. I enjoyed watching them cook and work such a small space. Food was very tasty
Didn't have anything booked Sat night, so we tried here at 7.30. Luck was on our side,it was busy but we only waited 10 min. We had soups and various dishes among the 6 of us. All extremely tasty and just what we wanted. Service was good !! Visited the bathroom and this was the only downside. They could spend a little more time in this department. But great food !!
We ordered the special fried rice, beef in black bean sauce and sesame prawn toasts. Probably one of the worst Chinese meals we have ever had. The special fried rice was dry, there was barely any ingredients in it, apart from rice and carrots. The beef and black been sauce was tasteless and looked like mush. The sesame prawn toasts were flat, raw and I’m not sure if there were any actual prawns in it. Definitely won’t be going back.
