Story

Our custom built hostel is designed to minimise our impact on the environment.
We offer an Australian countryside experience with all the comfort of brand new facilities. Two accommodation buildings with double and quad rooms; separate kitchen/dining/tv block; separate shower/toilet block. Sustainable technologies include composting toilets which don't use water; rainwater collections and grey water treatment onsite; solar power and energy efficient electrics; design to maximise the natural breeze; recycling and organic gardening.
28 acres to spread out, relax and explore including farm animals, pets and Australian wildlife passing through - spot the wallabies and kangaroos and native parrots.
Come for a few nights and check out the local attractions including Snakes Downunder Reptile Park - hold a snake if you're brave!; Flying High Bird Sanctuary; wineries; historic pubs; and head into Bundaberg to see the nesting turtles in season; check out the famous local beverages Bundaberg Rum and Bundaberg Ginger Beer, and lots more.
We can organise fruit and vegetable harvest work on local farms - a great way to earn some more travel funds and count towards your 2nd year International Working Holiday Visa.
