Great pizza shop and restaurant. Interesting walk along the main street. Free RV parking with dump Point. One water outlet for top up. Clean toilets in the park. Secure children's playground. Free gas BBQ.
Great that council can make land available for us to stop safely. It allowed us to spend money at the local shops. Isn't that a win-win for us all. As councils up and down the country are stopping the driver reviver lications it makes good sense to have us stop, revive, refresh and drive on safely. Big congrats to Childers council.Location: 5/5
Nice clear area to stop over and do your unloading of waste and reloading water. Could do with some large bins for recyclables and rubbish. Area to close enough to the shops to walk back with bags in head.
A great asset to the town, as long as the users support the town. Great location one block from the main street. A well maintained, sealed and level parking area. It was very busy, and we had to go to the overflow area, which is a grassed area. Very quiet considering it is beside the railway line. Probably in the top 10 free camps we have stayed in, as far as what is provided. Ideal for the self contained traveller. Thank you very much ISIS council.
I was quite hesitant to stop here, but It was a tidy little stop just 1 street back from main road. No toilets or amenities here, though there is a dump point. 2 areas of this stop, concrete and grassed. The concrete area does back on to a train track which was not a problem, think it only passed once during our night stay I n a Saturday night. The skate Park behind was more noisy with local kids. Also a kids play park at the end. Chilled little stop.
Great fee park behind the main street of town. There is a Green grass area and also a bitumen area with designated spots. Nice and quiet.Location: 5/5
Great spot for over night stay. Can get busy. Has all the facilities. Right in town. Got to try the famous "Hot Bread Fred" Lamingtons.
What a great place to pull up for the night. Night out within walking distance to the whole street for food drinks and entertainment.Location: 5/5
2 options available. Grass area or carpark. One st back from main road. Toilets are clean. Has dump pt. There is a very clean bbq at the playground. Some road noise. Great little town with all essentials. Beautiful lit up trees at night in the main street. Recommend
