Honestly, Chequers is going downhill. Used to have the best tenders in town but now they’re bought in processed “tenders”. The chips in the combos are smaller portioned but priced the same. The “milkshake” is just milk and syrup, no ice cream like there should be. The hotdog was cold and chewy. The nachos and chips are almost always soggy. Last visit was at 12:15 on the 22/11/2022 EDIT: Instead of pushing off someone’s negative feedback, actually attempt to make a fix. I understand how you believe your business to be ran, however when the milkshakes are being made it is visible to the customer to see and not once was ice cream added. As well as the chips being made the ‘same way’ for 9 years, that may be the case but my statement was that they were soggy majority of the time. Maybe your staff shouldn’t be serving them soggy? Anyway regardless to my feedback the way you responded was unprofessional and rude. I highly recommend that no one wastes their money in a place such as this Wheelchair accessibility: No way to reach the counter from a wheelchair
Yumm , came from Melbourne noble park, great place. baked potato and chips with Gravy is must to try .will come back again. Will highly recommend if anyone travelling to Ballarat.
I recently went to Binley Chequers Chippery, My chip was as cold as Jaina Proudmore's Heart, and as floppy as Johnny Sins on an off day. Normally good chip. Today Bad chip. Sad. edit: recently visited chip. was good. happy
Chips were soggy, and asked for only a little gravy but still had more than usual amount
Today I got a small tray of chips with tomato sauce, I asked the lady with blonde hair to put extra salt on it and she told me they already had salt, she then proceeded to pretend to put more salt on it and gave it to me, after I walked away and she rolled her eyes at me Edit- the chips were soggy too
Loved the damn hot chips . Good place with superfast customer service .
The customer service is amazing, always with a warm smile and quick as well. The chips cheese and gravy need more cheese and less gravy and salt though. Other than that, really good. The snack chips are very filling.
