I'd like to particularly highlight and thank Nicholas, for the amazing customer service, who helped me today when I was in a rush to find my little sister's baby bottle, such a helpful, kind and caring person. Literally rushed out from the cashier desk just to help me get it fast as it seems we had some issues over the phone reserving it. What a great person and I can tell the hard-work and dedication.
The rudest Pharmacist and “technicians” ever. The short brunette with the nose piercing had the most wild attitude for absolutely no reason, just tryna get my medication bae. Then had me waiting for absolutely no reason at all till every other customer before and after me had left and asked me what i was waiting on? like isn’t that your literal job ? mind you what i was getting could simply be over the counter nothing crazy, the weirdest vibe and energy!
This store is much smaller than the one in Southport, and sometimes the items I’m looking for are out of stock, which means I have to come back a second time. However, I still visit frequently because the parking is convenient, there are other spots nearby to run errands, and Ferry Rd Market is right there.nAs it gets closer to clock-out time, the checkout lines tend to get quite long. But the cashiers are so fast and efficient that they make sure you don't waste too much time waiting.
I had a very frustrating experience at Chemist Warehouse Southport Brickworks Centre on April 23 at around 8:00 pm.nI called in advance and clearly asked multiple times if they had non-chewable lamotrigine tablets, and I was told yes.nWhen I arrived, I explained again — more than once — that I specifically needed the non-chewable version. Despite that, another staff member came and offered me the chewable/dispersible version, which I had already made clear I cannot take.nTo make things worse, the same staff member who initially told me it was available came back with another person, who then told me it was not available after all. This came across as very unprofessional and dismissive, especially since I had been clear from the beginning.nThis is not a minor issue — this is essential medication. Giving incorrect information and failing to properly check stock wastes time and can directly affect someone’s health and stability.nPharmacies should have properly trained staff who can understand and verify medication requirements accurately.nVery disappointing experience.
The young girl at the front counter needs to be retrained on customer service. When you see a customer waiting in line you acknowledge them instead of glancing at us and continuing to talk to your coworker next to you. This happened twice before I just decided to walk up and place my stuff on the counter. After zero greeting and an incredibly uncomfortable transaction I had to walk away with no receipt as she didn’t speak a single word to us and just turned her back after we paid. Never shopping here again.
