I’ve visited Chemist Warehouse Woden several times now, and I’m honestly quite disappointed with the overall experience. While there are some positives, there are also a number of issues that really need attention and improvement.nnTo start with the positives: the prices are excellent. Chemist Warehouse Woden makes it easier for the community to access affordable medicines, which is a huge benefit for many people. However, this particular branch has several areas that could be much better managed.nnThe main concern for me is the lack of privacy when collecting prescriptions. People often pick up very personal medications, yet there’s very little discretion — conversations about medications can be heard by others waiting nearby. This feels uncomfortable and goes against the principles of confidentiality and professionalism that healthcare should uphold.nnI’ve also noticed that cleanliness could be improved. Some of the counters are occasionally dirty or cluttered, which doesn’t give a good impression. This might be partly due to customers leaving messes, but it’s still something that could be addressed with more regular upkeep.nnAnother major issue is the long queues. It’s not unusual to see eight to ten people waiting in line, and the process feels rushed. Staff often call out loudly for the next customer or even announce medication names, which makes it feel more like a supermarket checkout than a pharmacy. A more private, respectful approach would make a big difference.nnThe Chemist Warehouse app also feels complicated and restrictive, especially when trying to transfer prescriptions to another pharmacy. It’s frustrating that it doesn’t integrate with MedAdvisor, which many other pharmacies support.nnLastly, the store layout and entrance could be improved. The entrance is located near large bins and a garage area, which doesn’t feel very welcoming. While I understand there may be space limitations, the overall setup gives a poor first impression.nnOverall, Chemist Warehouse Woden does provide affordable pricing, but it seriously needs to improve in areas such as privacy, staffing, cleanliness, and customer flow. With some attention and changes, they could definitely make this branch a much more professional, welcoming, and patient-focused pharmacy.

Very rude staff! I forgot to check her name tag to be specific but she looked like she’s from Nepal. Very lazy even to let customers try the perfume testers. Like if I knew what I wanted to gift my friend specifically I would have ordered it online or click or collect rather than having to come to the store myself to try the perfumes. Almost all the staff are in hurry to restock things and organize them when they had 100’s of people queued at the perfume section. Never recommend anyone to go there !!

They are a discount chemist. They are what they are. If you want a more personal service then go somewhere else. They can be busy at peak times, so go in non peak times. The discounts you often get can be worth it. You have choices. Pay more somewhere else or pay less here. It costs more for good service. We don't tip in Australia, but it's often hidden in the prices. Cheaper prices, often means cheaper service. Except when dealing with David Jones. You often pay more for nothing extra.

Chemist Warehouse is my one-stop for my prescription medication, over-the-counter meds, supplements and beauty products. Their app is very useful and allows customers to place their orders for prescription drugs ahead of time. The prices for Zyrtec of the best, costing me the same as the generic brand from other pharmacies. If you value $$$ savings, then you will appreciate making Chemist Warehouse your one stop shop

Was a 5 star chemist, been going there exclusively for years. New management? Don't take your time browsing the ailses whilst waiting for scripts. They will chase you through the ailses and make you empty all your pockets. Yet leaving another customer filling a trolley full of bags alone.nThey cornered me and forced me to hold a basket whilst I was telling them I have a torn rotator cuff. So I shouldnt be carrying anything. They've put the pain back months because they insisted I was attempting to steal from the store.nAbsolutely 1 star customer service and won't be returning any time soon.
