Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Rude Behaviour by Pharmacist at Chemist Warehouse ClaytonnnI am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and concern regarding an unpleasant and distressing experience my partner encountered at your store.nnShe had visited your pharmacy to collect medication prescribed for me. However, during her interaction with one of your pharmacists, she was treated in an extremely rude and disrespectful manner. The pharmacist, who we believe was a local male staff member with a beard looked like an Aussie Man, raised his voice at her and rudely accused her of forgetting a part of the prescription. This conduct was entirely uncalled for and deeply upsetting for her.nnWe fully understand that certain protocols must be followed when dispensing medication, and if any part of the prescription was indeed missing, it could have been communicated in a calm, respectful, and professional manner. However, what my partner experienced was not just discourteous — it was demeaning and mentally distressing. She returned home visibly shaken and saddened by the treatment she received. No customer, especially one seeking assistance for a loved one's medical needs, deserves to be spoken to in such a manner.nnWe have been loyal customers of Chemist Warehouse Clayton for a long time, and we have never encountered such unacceptable service before. It is extremely disheartening that an organisation known for its service standards would allow a staff member to behave in this way without accountability.nnThis situation has affected us personally and emotionally. I hope you understand the seriousness of the matter and take prompt and necessary action to ensure it is addressed appropriately. I trust the Chemist Warehouse management will treat this issue with the urgency and sensitivity it deserves.nnThank you for your time, and I apologise if any part of this message comes across strongly — my intention is not to offend, but to highlight a genuinely upsetting experience that we feel must not go unaddressed.nnI look forward to your prompt and positive response.
I hate their voice mail of any chemist warehouse if you are on hold. Maybe they can change it for a better person‘s voice. Not just me, many of my friends hated that talking style.
I WILL BE TAKING FURTHER ACTION to make sure NO ONE ELSE EVER gets Treated the way I have by the Female Pharmacist at this store!!! ONE YEAR, for 1 year since I’ve moved here, she has played Russian Roulette with my life. I am a calm and peaceful individual and just let it slide and go to another pharmacy. Today she did it again, so for the 1st time in a year and half of her REFUSING EACH TIME to dispense my medication which she actually DISPENSED THEN CANCELED my script because “I’m talking over her” after MAKING ME WAIT AN HOUR AFTER RECEIVING THAT DISPENSED ESCRIPT TEXT right at closing like she has EVERY SINGLE TIMS IVE VISITED THE PAST YEAR. It’s my Duty to make sure I bring myself and all she has treated in this manner Justice! She has basically not only Belittled me for a year, even times I cried in store in which I uber to and back. But as someone who stays clear of assuming Discrimination, for once I had to experience it over and over and over again just for it to Click! Ps. She said “IM BANNING YOU FROM CHEMIST WAREHOUSE.” I’d laugh, but with my calm demeanor and luckily this time RECORDING most of it thanks to my intuition I will be taking further action with the pharmacy board. She also has a sister in the Springvale location who’s done the same thing to me, unless it’s her that works at both locations.nnENOUGH IS ENOUGH
What a sad and disappointing experience with this location, no empathy, care or understanding, we are just a $$ to them.nnMy wife has been in hospital for the past 2 months and I have been with her 8am to 8pm, we live in country NSW and without going into the specifics of her medical issue time is precious. I have been able to dodge Covid, but unfortunately I have contracted Covid for the first time, and was prescribed the anti-viral medication due to my age, imagine my surprise that after 10 mins after presenting the script, I was told that unfortunately the doctor had left the authority number off the script and most pharmacy’s were closing. It is standard practice for the pharmacies to contact the doctor direct. All I was told is was we shut in 10 minutes, and we are unable to call the doctor despite the doctor’s name and phone number on the script.nnForget the price you pay, the local owned pharmacy who you build a relationship with may give you a better service.nnI have no affiliation with any other pharmacy and the pharmacy industry.
