I don’t understand why there are such good reviews… clearly no one reads the expiry date on their item.. 80% of their items are expired and I bought items that were 6-8 months expired.. like kids cereal.. that i wanted to feed my children. CHECK THE DATES! there are no signage in the store advising its past date.. how do they get away with it. added proof of the items they displayed
Visited on Mar24 weekend.nn Very vegan, vego, gluten free friendly!nGood range of gluten free, vegan food, frozen soy protein meals, canned drinks, $2 califa farms oat milk, $2 Bonsoy almond milk, $1-$4 brie cheese, $12 truffle oil and honey, huge range of sauces for $1-$2.n Staff were friendly and helpful.n Helping reduce waste, the community in this difficult economy & there's always something new to try,n n n difficult to park on busy Sydney Road. Most spots are 1/2 P up to 11pm but it's tram accessible. ncrowded on weekends. Visit durkng quiet hours if you experience sensory overload or have limited mobility - be prepared to battle people with trolleys, baskets, trolleys filled with cardboard and piles of cardboard lying around on the floor. nStock changes depending on what they can source.nNote that some items are past the best before date. YMMV. nBYO carry bags or grab a box for free. nn No fresh produce here butnfrozen veggies are available
Love a bargain and of course it has to be gluten free.nnIf you're coeliac and on a budget you have to get yourself over for a visit. There are so many products, constantly changing and often a third or quarter of the usual price.
Great cheap deals. Some products past best before, some still within date. Can’t go wrong with their prices
On Saturday, 14th December 2024, I was served by a staff member with tooth gems who had a poor attitude while working at the cashier. They were laughing at customers while their colleague next to him was working hard. If you are not satisfied with your job, perhaps consider finding a different role rather than taking it out on the customers. Additionally, some of my items were scanned twice, which meant I had to return to get a refund.nnThis store has always had friendly and hardworking staff in the past, so quite disappointed and I hope this person change jobs soon...
