Centrelink

After hours and days on the phone circuit treadmill I eventually just had to speak to a human and decided to go into a Centrelink office for the first time in my life. That then became two visits in three days. The first visit was rather unsuccessful. However the second visit I was lucky enough to get Suzy!! She was absolutely amazing and worked through quite a complex issue until we got to to the bottom the problem (an incorrect assessment and rejection of an application). Kylie tidied off the final stage and now we are up and running. It's a shame all staff at Centrelink don't do their job to the standard of Suzy, who took the time to listen, realised there was a problem, and had the tenacity to find a resolution. Thankyou Suzy - a true asset! Five stars for Suzy, 0 stars for those that didn't do their job correctly in the first place!

I came to report some error extra parment. then I was suggest to use the phone service and it disconnected after 45 minutes waiting. Thank you Centrelink. "Best" service.

This morning my husband and I had a meeting with Centrelink Financial Advisor Russell Lenehan at Southport on the Gold Coast. We needed advice about our superannuation in relation to the Age pension.. Mr. Lenehan was wonderful. He answered all our questions and has given us the information we need to sort out these matters for ourselves. We were quoted $550 for an interview with the superannuation company advisor and we think Mr. Lenehan is worth his weight in gold. Please don't promote him because he is just great in his present position!

If suicide hotlines adopted the same phone "services" as Centrelink there would be a lot of deaths within only hours of the implementation. Communist countries under fascist dictatorships would have an even more effective phone service than this joke. Centrelink's automated "self" "service", and I say service loosely, is as efficient as a flyscreen on a submarine. The computers cannot understand simple commands, and cut the connection if you speak too loud when you are clearly emphasising the words the computer cannot understand. If I had a job that paid the taxes that funded this piece of tripe self service I would be furious.
