Maryborough’s art trail starts with the changing exhibitions shown at the Central Goldfields Art Gallery. The Gallery rotates local and contemporary artists from the Goldfields region, and covers a wide range of styles. The Gallery Collection includes work by renowned and local artisits.
No visit is complete without experiencing the award winning tourist attraction, the Antique Emporium, which is housed in the historic Maryborough Railway Station dating back to the 1890s. You can browse 372 square metres of antiques, treasures, old wares, collectables and memorabilia or simply marvel at the grandeur of the architecture. There is also a café/restaurant, where visitors can relax and enjoy the historical ambience.
