Bought bananas on Tuesday. They were a bit green, fair enough. Thursday , opened one: rotten at the bottom. No signs of damage or deterioration on the skin. Opened another: same thing. Same for all eight bananas. We live e way out of town so taking the fruit back not a serious likelihoodnPoor quality product, AldinReally disappointed.
While Aldi is fairly basic, their products and prices are consistently good. Staff are helpful and pleasant. My first stop for my grocery shop

Typical country town.nI bailed up the manager and asked him about the availability of rechargeable batteries and chargers for Aldi products. Unlike other Aldi staff at several other stores, he took the time to explain why they had none and also when they should be available.nBig store and plenty of stock
after reading 2 reviews with the same experience we had last night I feel a little more annoyed that this happens often! done our shop had 1 bottle of wine with my husband we’re both well over 18 cashier asks for OUR id, mines in the car, so i had to walk out while our 10 month old is crying in the trolley to then return, the cashier decided he only wanted mine and never ended up asking to see my husbands! Too bad if he was underage because he didn’t ask anyway! If your staff want to preach the “law” then actually teach your them correct protocols around liquor laws & regulations, mind you he was rude as hell about it, no thanks, no apologies, no smile, how about worry about your customer service abilities and stop trying to act like the town officer!
