It’s probably a time to change the bank because I went there at 03:38 pm to simply unlock the my youngest brother account for him and being commonwealth bank account holder but they wouldn’t let us in because they are going to close in 22 minutes Not very happy with the service and I clearly told them it’s argent the boy can’t access to funds and it’s Friday which the banks gonna be closed
Truly atrocious. Advertises as "Open Saturday" but there are no tellers. Just to see someone is an hour wait. Quote the security guard "people who come here on a Saturday use the ATM"... then why bother opening? Like

Had the worst phone call ever in my life. A common courtesy is when u r hanging up u ask if i have answered and is there anything else i can help. This old guy was very rude with me and my question wasn't answered as well. Swear to God he just hung up on me. Issue is still pending, we don't know yet how and where is the money and the other applicant in the Joint account for Assurance of support he says i have not received nothing. Absolute worst experience ever. The people are not trained properly. I will give the date and time for this call and they can even investigate. Please train your staff, they are not talking to their grand children here it's your customers !!!!!!!!!!
This terrible experience was solely at Dandenong Plaza with two staff. One was a blonde banker who wasn't in uniform and was very rude. The other was her Aussie-Punjabi colleague who had a terrible attitude and was rude, and am guessing she could be mute. I wanted to withdraw cash personally so when it was my turn, the banker served me. I told her what I needed and she requested my signature. I signed and she asked me to re-sign so I did it willingly. Then she said my signature didn't match. I was surprised. I said I was the person, verified all the pertinent details but she was still talking about my signature. In all my years as a Commonwealth Bank's customer, everyone has served me well except this staff. Anyway, I was told to queue together with a group who seemed they had some serious issues and that a staff would attend to me very shortly. I obliged. I was waiting for a staff to serve me very quickly but no one came. Every member in the group went individually into the room to sort out their issues. So I got annoyed and asked that Aussie-Punjabi staff when my turn was and why the delay. She didn't utter a single word but just pointed me to stand in line with the group. I wasn't sure why I was lumped in with that group! No reasons given. That explains my guess why she could be mute? This time, I became assertive and told them not to waste my time, and I needed immediate assistance as I didn't appreciate how I was treated. Another Indian staff stepped in and apologised. She rushed to a room quickly and a senior Sri Lankan bank staff then attended to me immediately. She respected my privacy, welcomed me to her office room and and asked what had happened. I shared and she apologised. She asked me to sign in front of her. I did and she said there were NO issues with my signature. She accompanied me back at the counter and spoke to the first staff. She told her to accede to my request as she had verified and everything is in order. I thanked her because she was sincere and efficient. With all the inconveniences caused, I told the banker I wanted to increase my withdrawal. She wanted my signature again. I asked her if she was still NOT satisfied with the numerous signatures I had to sign? I told her I've no time for her incompetence. She said 'it's extra work for her'. I told her 'that's NOT my issue. You're being paid to work. I'm the customer and I want my money now. If it's too much work for you, you might want to leave your job'. I also reminded her that her colleague has verified it and I'm increasing my withdrawal amount now'. She was embarrassed as others were looking and this time, she became timid. Once she gave me the requested funds, I asked her for an envelope but she gave me an used one! Terrible service. I said 'fresh envelope' sarcastically. Then she found one and passed that to me and said, 'you have a nice day'. I told her 'I would've had a nice day IF I NEVER met you!' It's evident that many of your staff need retraining and in practicing sensitivity! Try to learn some EQ from other outlets. May I also add that there's another branch at Dandenong walking distance and when I went there, the staff got my signature ONLY once, and the transaction was done smoothly. No issues. Efficient. Kudos to the staff there. Terrible service. No personal touch. Generally rude and unpleasant staff with a handful of helpful souls. The rest didn't display any professionalism except for asking 'how are you' and 'have a good day!' Lousy work ethics and standards!
No way to give Negative star hence giving one star to write this review. Branch Manager Avnish is not just rude but does things which is possibly racist. Was there at the branch before 3 pm to see that customers are lined up still but they closed the branch early . I wanted to deposit the cash only to my account but the responses were rude. And while I was standing at the atm , this Branch Manager let another lady customer in who came after me . I didn’t feel that was right . Best part is when I asked his name he told me so arrogantly that you can do what ever you want , I am the Branch Manager and this is how I do was the attitude. But went there again on 15th as my usual branch best branch ever was closed due to covid case . On 15th I finally made it to the Teller just to get another bad service from the tellers asking me for the signature verification to deposit into my own account and all sorts of new rules which I never heard from my usual branch . Will never go there again. I even thought that this could be because the Branch Manager saw me standing in the Teller Queue , hence he may or may not have influenced his staff . I don’t know but it makes me think in that angle because of the previous day experience. One thing I realised, it all comes from the leadership . Attitude and arrogance seems like a Value upheld in that branch . By the way the best branch is Endeavour Hills . They are 200 times better than the Dandenong Plaza Branch
If I could give them -5 I would because manager, Tim Daoughty is very rud and unrespectfull and unhelpful and very impolite specially when talk to people who don't understand much English.

The worst costumer service I have ever met in my life. Most of ladies working there have so much attitude as if they own the place. Went there today waited 1hr just to withdraw some cash from my own account. lady called alma whatever did not greet to me at all in that old age, she looked like 80 years old. So rude, asked me so many times why I need that much money as if it’s not my money and I have no right to use it. She should definitely be fired or already retire. So disappointed! 0 star and will never go there again.
