Absolutely appalling service. Am expected to fly to Aus to prove who I am even after completing their identification process. Won't help and we are expected to use the app for everything. Steer well clear. Im trying to close account and transfer funds to the UK. This promises to be interesting
My girlfriends works there. Building looks nice, however lacks a bit of flamboyance. Also, unless you get inside there is nothing saying the bank is inside. But otherwise good looking place in a very good location, easy to access.
Just horrible. Been a customer forever, for the first time need to contact bank for urgent help because of unauthorised transaction on my account, but to be able to reach for help can only be done via app, so you have to download an app to solve a fraud problem, not exactly something comfortable to do, then app locks you out and askes for your card password, more uncomfortable procedures, so you decide to use the phone, after over half hour wait the call drop, call again, asked for email or any other way to help, none, a bank, with all that money, but zero support to customers when needed. Shocking. Please, have better wats of contact so customers can reach you, have online chat, email, mote people on the phones. This is just horrible customer support.
I wrote 4 months ago - no reply. I have tried to call the branch but the advertised numbers no longer exist. I have tried contacting the branch via email to my relationship manager, but the email bounces back. I have called Australia using the numbers advertised and they say they do not have any contact details, names or numbers for London – which beggars belief! The only thing suggested was a walk up appointment. So I'm going on the 27th to see what happens. But I am VERY unimpressed so far. I called this is almost a 300 mile round trip for my walk up appointment. The receptionist said she gets several people a week, but there are NO appointments and NO ONE is there to see anyone. You have to ring Australia... Dont bother going, you're wasting your time.
So difficult to access. Useless. I am phoning from England, paying for the call and there's an hour's wait to speak to someone, if ever! What sort of Bank are you?! No customer service.
Limi who I contacted via social media for assistance was INCREDIBLE! I'm currently overseas and was trying to call through to commbank and was on hold for far too long. I sent a DM on Instagram and Limi came back to me straight away and helped me with everything that I needed - never been happier with a banks service, he made my day : thank you Limi from Instagram lol
I don't know why they bother having this office in London as no one ever answers the phone and it seems that they go to great lengths to make sure you cannot contact them. I've been trying for 3 months to sell my shareholding in CBA and after being repeatedly ignored by the head office in Australia I thought the UK office may be able to assist me but it appears as though they operate on the same basis and refuse to communicate. It's disgraceful that a global bank like this can behave in such a manner !
As an Australian Citizen resident in UK, the service is awful. The bank in Australia has no email contact and no ordinary mail address and the online services are poor plus it does not include messages. You have to contact them by international phone call to service your account - they don't answer - an hour's bill with no answer last time I tried. They offer reverse charge calling but my home phone provider charges for requesting a reverse charge via the operator. If you do get through, they claim they will call you back. It does not seem very secure.
Impossible to get any help. I am trying to sort the probate for my late mother they insist on everything being faxed - who has a fax machine these days. I can't attend the branch here what am I supposed to do fly home to do it. Other banks have figured out email ! Shocking service
What a waste of space! Why have a London branch if they are unable to perform any sort of banking functions for Commonwealth Bank customers.
