Story

Since 1975, Caulfield Music has served three generations of students and musicians as an institution in our locality.

Caulfield Music is:
- Music School
- Musical Instrument and Equipment Repairs & Service
- Musical Instruments, Books, and Accessories Sales
- Rehearsal Studios (coming soon)

Caulfield Music was established on Glenhuntly Rd in 1975 serving the needs and requirements of a growing student clientele.

The business soon outgrew its first small shop front, eventually becoming a retail store with drum shop, music school and rehearsal studios at 591-593 Glenhuntly Rd.

After 38 continuous years on Glenhuntly Rd, the opportunity to move into our current premises in August 2014 as a freehold allowed Caulfield Music to plant ourselves in the locality for the long-term. We look forward to serving another generation of students and musicians.

Successfully coordinating around 200 students on a weekly basis with 15-20 teachers, many of whom enjoy a long history with us, we are proud to have seen many of our students graduate into professional musicians and return to use our rehearsal studios.

At Caulfield Music School, teachers provide weekly one-on-one lessons. This is the optimal way for students to learn their chosen instrument.


The “Modus Operandi”

- Students must always be prepaid at least one lesson in advance.
- Prepayments of 10 Lessons in advance receives one FREE lesson - total cost $297.
- Missed lessons incur full fee unless a minimum of 24 hours notice is given.
- All Caulfield Music School students are entitled to STUDENT DISCOUNTS on instruments, equipment/accessories, and books.
