Some areas not for the faint hearted especially across the top ridge line. Extremely rocky and slow going but the views are worth it. Several hike loops can be done. Jawbone trail up the middle can climb swiftly in places and beware the snakes in summer! Reasonable fitness required otherwise a decent hiking area. On hot days you are exposed to the sun across the top so take plenty of water.

Amazing countryside and mountainous landscape girt by several wineries and fruit orchards. Camping and hiking is the perfect past time here; being a National Park, any hunting or shooting is forbidden. Cathedral Mountain itself is a marvelous geographical monument, a testament to the beautiful architect being... time. Dedinitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Even if you're not in the area, go out of your way to gwt there.

This is one of those places that you don't want to tell anyone about yet itsbl so beautiful you have to tell everyone, it is a slice of heaven only 2 hours away from Melbourne and probably the best hiking I have done in Victoria I will definitely be returning and maybe even camping there as the campgrounds look amazing but you must book book ahead with parks Victoria

Wonderful location for some bushwalking. Trails of all lengths available. Note, however, that the trails, while clearly marked, are not wide and not always well-maintained. Inexperienced hikers will need to take care and remember to carry enough water. As of January 2018, the Cathedral Trail north from Cathedral Peak is nearly overgrown with prickly bushes, making passage if not hard, inconvenient (better avoided).
