Read this before you go there. Beautiful view; however, if you don't plan to spend a lot of money you might experience a different service. We came for a coffee only and were shoved off into a closed off corner on the side. The excuse that they are setting up for lunch on the deck was a bit ridiculous as tables were still not set up and nobody was sitting there when we left. We visit the area every year and love the friendliness of the locals. However Cassis at Booie might only like to have people willing to spend.
Cassis has really improved the bell tower and the new management are friendly and hospitable. The views are stunning and never ending.The food is divine and is most often from local suppliers and farms. The large cheese platters and large range of wines make Cassis one of the best restaurants in the South Burnett.
This is elegant dining in a spectacular setting. Their carefully crafted dishes and nice wine list are well worth the drive north of Kingaroy. Wonderful for special occasions or that relaxing lunch or dinner.
I will be recommending this venue to anyone planning a wedding. As guests we had the most sensational food, stunning views it really needs to be seen in person - photos don’t do it justice and warm, friendly and considerate owners and staff. An unforgettable experience- thank you!
Attended this establishment on the 9th August, 2017. A group of six. I must say that we tried the entree, sourdough with olive oil and dukkah, yummy followed by mains 3 different ones between the group which were all exceptionally tasteful. All mains presented well and with a side of different vegetables was very palatable. My compliments to the chef. The deserts were to die for. The wine was cold and tasteful. The service was first class and the atmosphere and ambience made for a great outing. It was a real pleasure to dine at CASSIS Hope to come back soon.
