Very expensive items, rude surly staff. Loans are out of desperation only. Go into one even for a small amount and go into bigger debt getting them back.

Staff are quite helpful and eager to offer assistance or talk about what they're selling; however a LOT of items are very high priced compared to other cash converters therefore fresh stock hardly comes out

Was sold a game without the disc in it. When i called I was offered no apology and told they 'might' be able to do something if I come all the way back to Capalaba within the week. Its the company's job to make sure the games are in there! They obviously dont care about customers, so I wont be back, gumtree treats me better.

Was lied to buy the guy over the counter. Claimed he would only sell it for the price I'm asking. In the very same store it's $100 more!

Also lied about EB Games selling games for less then I'm asking when their store has them for twice the price!

Stay away!

I just visited Cash Converters Capalaba today with some trepidation having read the bad reviews.
I was pleased to find the opposite, a large modern well laid out shop, greeted by a friendly Simone about my jewelry inquiry.
She was very helpful but didn't have what I wanted.
Otherwise all fine, and everything in the place seemed new and fairly priced.
I'm not a reviewer generally but wanted to give an account of my different (good) experience there.
