Carlos Cantina is an independent Mexican restaurant.
We are not one of those run-of-the-mill franchise outlets nor are we one of those pretentious celebrity chef restaurants with hefty prices to match.
The people behind Carlos Cantina are simply a bunch of Mexican food lovers who are passionate about serving freshly prepared value for money Mexican tucker to our guests. We love what we do and we hope it shows in our food and service.

I would’ve given 10 stars if I could. Food is very good, but service from staff is excellent. nnFirst restaurant that I recommend people just for the quality of service.
Casual atmosphere and very large menu. Great for a group setting, wooden rafters and rustic tables. Meals are very generous and whilst they don't have a lot of fancy presentation they do the basics well. Great flavour, big portions, menu has all the standard Mexican fare you want. Staff were great. Nachos were stuffed!
Went here to check out the mex, the food was delicious, portions was good, the drinks were freshhh. Staff were very accommodating and service was excellent. Will visit again.
I'll start off by saying that the food was quite tasty and the pricing was good.nThe service was not good at all. We had a booking for 6 pm, and they were incredibly slow to take our order and then bring out the food. 3 out of 4 of the kids' meals came together, the 4th about 15 minutes later, after having to prompt them. My husband and one other meal did not come out until almost 8 pm, when everyone else had finished their meal. But then, the audacity!!! At 8.10pm we were told 'sorry your food was late but we have an 8.30 booking so we need the table'. My husband was literally halfway through eating.nThere was no offer to comp his meal, but they just started clearing the table while he was still eating. Another friend was still waiting for his beer he ordered 15 minutes previously when we ended up leaving.nIn terms of atmosphere, there are lots of people crammed into a tiny space, so don't expect to chat without yelling.nDefinitely disappointed.
Fantastic Mexican cuisine within South eastern suburbs.nnServing is large, love the variety and friendly service too.nnWe ordered :n- beef enchilada enormen- combinationn- Kids meal with fish tacosn- cheesy chipsn- margaritas samplern- HorchatannDefinately worth a visit if you are nearby and crave for something different.nnPricing is ok and parking is plenty
