Motel rooms are very clean and accommodating, staff are considerate and kind, close to the beach and a few landmarks, great price for 6 people $315 at the time of writing.nnAir conditioning was in the kitchen which wasn’t really helpful, although there was a ceiling fan.nnIn summary, motel has clean rooms, prices are low and motel is very accommodating and welcoming. Well enjoyed the stay, may come back here when we visit Gisborne again!
Walk in the door and it feels so good. We had the 2 bedroom for 5 of us and it was very comfortable. Kaimahi is Gisborne hospitality in the making. Easy online booking just pick up key and to room. Kei te mihi Te Tairawhiti for everything
Generally find this place good value for money in good location with the bonus of an onsite restaurant, however last time was put in a very small room through an alley way that didn’t feel safe, anyone could be lurking and closer to the road. No sleep with the noise of the trucks starting around 3am. Service always top notch
Clean, tidy comfortable room. Location great for the beach and a walk along the river to town. Friendly staff. Only downside, noisy road with loads of logging trucks going past all the time.Double glazing helps though, otherwise it would be awful.
Enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean and accommodating. Andreas diner kai was lovely. Will stay again
