Great product but owner not that keen to sell unless you try on the footwear item. Very difficult when buying for a gift. Despite this being my 3rd visit and purchase of the same size for the same person and always happy with the fit the owner was less than encouraging my purchase.

Great place to buy sheep skin ugg boots. Staff are friendly. The dirt road is a bit rough.

I went into the tannery with a friend who was looking for sheepskin products. The owner would have to be the most rudest and pedantic person I have ever met in my life. It was like verbal diarrhoea coming out of his mouth. Will definitely will be not going there again.

Brilliant local business. Really know their stuff when it comes to fitting. Bring in your old uggies for a perfect fit based on your pattern of wear. Boots come in a range of standard designs from slip-on to lace-up tall boots and all colour combinations - if your preference isn't in stock they can whip it together in no time. Highly recommended. This ridiculously comfortable pair cost $85, about the same price I paid over a decade ago.

Absolutely recommend getting your Ugg's long or short, slippers, scuffs all different colours and sizes from Canberra Tannery. Was welcomed by the owner who took the time to size us up properly. Not rushed to make a selection. He was even prepared to make if he didn't have right size or colour in shop. Thank you Canberra Tannery.

It's a bit off the beaten path but it's well worth the effort. The store has an excellent range of warm footwear and the owner provides enthusiastic and helpful service. He also provides the opportunity to get shoes customised if necessary.
