Campos Cafe 3/5 stars Brisbane Gasworks Unfortunately, the highly recommended campos cafe was a real letdown. The inside design and architectural was great and the little things made it count like the slow grinding coffee machine and coffee bags on display. For the coffee, I waited over half an hour for an extra hot cappuccino which was upsetting for how good it was. It was made perfectly by a talented barrister and was really enjoyed. The cafe was slightly dog friendly not allowing dogs inside, only outside. The outside of the shop is a figurative wind tunnel. Very cold air was rushing though blowing onto your face not making it a suitable place to sit. Overall, the experience was not good though the coffee made up for it. If you are looking to get a good coffee but are prepared to wait without a dog then campos is right for you although if not, Manet go somewhere else.
The coffee is delicious! The staff are incredible. The staff make the effort to remember you by name for takeaway orders, and make a big effort to be kind and friendly despite how busy they are. 10/10
They have wonderful coffee, but every time I went there, coffee has a different taste. I think because they have many baristas. I highly suggest them to have quality control person to ensure that every cup is the same. My review is based on 3 visits.
Great coffee that is always consistent vegan chocolate powder if you’re feeling yourself. Amazing avo toast also! - $8 for 2 slices of sourdough with a generous serving!!
I love their signature rosetta shape so much!!!! They always provide perfect latte art in the coffee. Well.. coffee flavour would depend on the each brenches of the Campos, but I reckon it was the best coffee in Gasworks. Campos also have a lot of cakes and bread looked tasty! I had a chocolate banana cake. The rich taste of banana and chocolate cream was great match. If I make a suggestion, banana sheet with melted chocolate not a cream will be also good match :
3 stars and that's thanks to the staff friendliness. But what they specialise in - coffee - is consistently bad. Once asked them to remake it as it was very sour. Barista's face went sour when I said that. My last almond latte from here sucked too, asked them to put little ice and the glass came half full of ice. Espresso was again sour and burnt tasting.
Coffee tastes bad, overpriced, limited range of coffee sizes their large size is 12 oz and no standard syrups. My single last pick for coffee at Gasworks area.
Friendly welcoming staff and a lovely cappuccino. Capos is away from the hustle and bustle at the far end. Lovely views well worth a visit .
Right flavour of the coffee, texture is just on the spot. Overall happy experience.
Very good coffee consistently, fast customer service and friendly staff. Ticks all the boxes.
