The owner did a great job making us feel welcome. Nothing was "too hard".The room was a bit tired but clean and decently appointed. Room lighting had not been well thought out but was adequate. There is a good communal kitchen. The motel is in a handy location for biking the Twin Coast trail. Caters to cyclists.
We stayed at Mid North for 2 nights and we were pleasantly surprised by how great we found this little motor inn. Owner Michelle was super lovely and made up feel very welcome when we arrived. The room was clean, and we really liked the cute communal kitchen. Loved the little notes telling us to 'have a good day!'
Very clean and comfortable bed. Tracey very helpful and friendly. Lovely bowl of fruit in our room on arrival. Highly recommended if doing the Twin Coast Cycle trail.

We were incredibly well looked-after during the three nights we based ourselves there for a cycle trip. Michelle baked us scones, let us use the towels for the hot springs, and Lindal put down tarps for our dirty bikes so we could have them inside. The two of them went over and above to make sure we were looked after. Highly recommended!
Never have I stayed in a motor Inn that was so accommodating. Spacious, clean, tasteful rooms. Would definitely come here again if we had the chance. Great for the cycle trail.Rooms: 5/5
The wee time my whanau and I of 13adults we were well looked after,the pool area was just right outside or door's.. Awesome host and even tho they were still renovating they had time to ask if we still needed anything,can't wait to go in November as the powered sites should be done thank for the stay..
This is our second stay here and they never disappoint. Customer service is amazing they accommodated me by letting me check in early. This is a perfect place to stay with the RSA right next door for a great meal.
My partner and I were so happy to have a couple of days away and it was awesome to be able to relax in an environment that was close to town, but enough away from the ratrace. To have a bath available was wonderful. Clean, tidy and great breakfast facilities. Nga mihi Trudz Ruffiner...blessings
I travel a lot to the North and I keep going back to the Mid North Motor Inn. It is home away from home. Lindal and Michelle are such wonderful hosts who look after myself and my other workmates when they are up North. In the last year I have stayed here 6 times. Thumbs up!!!
