I am from WA, & Wow what amazing service by All at this Hospital Thank you very Much. I went to emergency today, they were at the door straight away taking details, showed you through to a bed, made sure everything was OK. Seen nurse straight away, then 30 minutes if that Dr came, then ex-rays were taken not long after that, went back from there for about another 30 minutes Dr came back. All was OK. Thanks again you have a great team of workers and doctors.
Appalled at how I was refused an exemption to briefly see my elderly grandfather. If the vaccine works effectively, why do we need strict visitor rules? Why was I asked, why I would want to see my grandfather? I am questioning why I am paying for private health when upset people who think for themselves are treated with contempt. Administrative phone staff have been rude and dismissive. Thankfully ward sisters are showing care. I remain disgusted by both of Hobarts' main private hospitals.
Absolutely brilliant care here at the Calvary. Discectomy performed by Dr Dubey with a 3 night stay. Every day spoiled with care from the lovely nurses, Particularly Megan who didn't say no to an Ice Cream request Thank you so much, your staff are wonderful, vibrant and truly display their love for their role and workplace. Very lucky to have been able to stay here! I've already referred other family members requiring surgical attention to come here also, Thank you again Calvary and Team
Have a family member there at the moment and the staff are lovely. Every time I've called they have been so friendly and helpful. Now that I'm visiting I can see how warm and responsive the nurses and doctors are and how fast things happen. They make patients feel comfortable in difficult times. Their modern, mobile equipment e.g. x-ray machines, means that patients can be examined without leaving bed. And the quality of the meals impressed me too. Keep up the good work Calvary
Calvary has discriminated against patients with mental health issues. The staff were privileged people content with sub-standard service and the hospital is generally staid and old-fashioned in the worst sense. Avoid.
I was a day patient for Surgery with general anesthesia recently performed by Dr Mignanelli. I had a lot of trepidation and anxiety that morning and thankfully I was first on his list. I would like to sincerely thank Calvary for the magnificent care provided by their nurses Cassie, Linh, Tanya and Susan in no particular order. They made me feel very calm and showed great and genuine care. Just wonderful nurses. Thank you.
Previously left a negative review ,not understanding that private doctor's computers and the hospital computers are not linked. And was also worried I'd be in agony. I came in yesterday, and everyone here has been truly amazing. I'm used to being put down because of one of the medications I'm on, but here I'm azing care.not judged, I've a beautiful room, with Tv,phone inc,and a magnificent view over Hobart. At Calvary you will get amazing care inc.view from my room
I visited the Emergency department this morning following a traumatic dog bite. The staff Nerada, Tim & Bec were amazing, so caring and such compassionate care. Such wonderful staff thank you
Very rude receptionist. Confusing Entry Covid rule signs . The receptionist stopped us rudely halfway through the entrance because the stop signs up the stairs. It should be in the main entrance. I’m mentally sick after I waited and can’t see my patients.
I honestly cannot thank, nor rate highly enough the wonderful Nurses, Dr. Arvind Dubey and staff at Calvary Hospital enough. I suffer extreme anxiety having to go to hospital, having mostly public hospital experiences in the past. The kind and attentive care I received at Calvary was night and day in comparison to the RHH and my surgery went perfectly. You have all decreased a huge fear of mine tremendously, and I am nothing short of grateful for each and every one of you. I will never go anywhere else and recommend this Hospital 100%.
