Our brother passed away on December 23rd 2017 in Cairns, a place that was unknown to us, his family.
We arrived knowing no one, and was greeted with love, kindness, empathy and support.
Janette and David helped us deal with many family conflicts with professionalism.
No request was to big no task to small.
They were available throughout the Christmas period always making us feel it was never a problem to talk, cry or just ask the endless questions.
They handled everything which made our grief so much easier to accept.
Its hard writing a review, its not as if I can say (go check it out), but if ever you find yourself with a love one in their care, or need someone to care for your loved one, you will find the love, understanding and the respect for you and your family at this outstanding establishment ... I just wanted to say to the people from cairns funeral directors a big thank-you for looking after a good friend. I had never been to a funeral before and to be honest it was quite overwhelming. I had not expected so many people to attend a funeral, half of Trinity Bay High and Cairns West were there for the service. You guys helped a lot on an emotional day. cheers.......

A big Thankyou to Cairns Funeral Directors, Pease St, Manunda. The old John Chesser Funeral Parlour, who were so helpful when my father passed on. Now owned by Janette, Dave and Alisha, out do in being so helpful, explaining all that is, was, needed to be done, and in doing everything that needed to be done, and in doing everything that needed to be done for the Cremation of our Mother. All our family had to do was just be there, and if anything they made it a wonderful thing. Their "We Care" is a true outcoming of what they do. These people have made everything so easy for our family, they are more like part of the family whilst they are doing their "Job" even following up to see if all is OK, and how we are coping. We thank them so much, just wonderful people. Thankyou again, David, Janette and Alisha. Cairns Funeral Directors. Mr. and Mrs. Pearce.
