Cafe O-mai (pronuced Cafe Oh my) is a little quirky and intimate Vietnamese cafe situated in the suburb of Annerley near Chardon's corner.

Story

Our menu reflects our Vietnamese heritage with some western influence in our breakfast menu. Its not fusion, so don't get it confused! Our slices, cakes, muffins and biscuits are baked on the premises. Our fresh baguettes are hand made from the talented baker Minh at Patisseries Bakery & De Francs in Sunnybank Hills.
Our philosophy is to not over complicate our fresh produce. We strive on preserving natural flavours and do not add any msg to our dishes. We hand make everything from the lemongrass pork sausages to our spring rolls in store. We do not discriminate on diet restrictions so if you are gluten/dairy intolerant we can cater for your needs.

We don't judge on your budget, our menu fits in with everyone hip pocket. Its our goal to educate the burbs of Brisbane a new way of eating! Yes you can have a bowl of Pho (pronuced "Fur") at 7am. In the streets of Vietnam there are numerous vendors selling Banh mi (baguettes) and steaming hot soups for breakfast. So get your pho on and head to Cafe O-Mai for something different and special.

This cafe was one of my favorite.nBut, The food quality is changed now.nSpecially, Banh mi !!nI had SAD FOOD this time..very disappointed.nToo much soy sauce and little bit of ingredients…nThey used very little bit of ingredients…nI miss past Cafe O-mai.nI went there second of November.nIt was 11am-1pm.
Pho - 9/10. Delicious.nBahn Mi - 7.5/10, could have more herbsnVibes - 7/10, pleasant but nothing stunning. Table was too small.nnBang for buck. “Large” Pho bowls are generous servings. That alone could fill two portions worth. We got so full from the pho that we had to take away the bahn mi in a good way.nnDrinks are alright and there’s an interesting variety.nnVery reasonable pricing for the quality!
I had the Vietnamese iced coffee for breakfast which I got to mix and pour myself and a tofu bánh mì roll I had eaten half before deciding to take a photo. The service was extremely quick especially during a busy brunch period. The food and drinks are great and well proportioned particularly the crunchy bánh mì roll. I’d love to come back with family and/or friends!
Had a nice ban bo hue noodle soup. I thought the banh mi were overpriced at more than double the price elsewhere. I didn't try it though so it might be deserved.
Absolutely 5 starnI found this place by accident, I was driving past and noticed a few people lining up out the front. So I did a quick uturn and joined the line.nWe were seated quick and promptly given table water and menu's by friendly and efficient staff.nThe place was busy but didn't feel crowded.nTraditional banh mi super yummy nThe best I've ever eatennThank you
