I visited around midday on a Friday with a friend. It was relatively busy but we got a nice table. We ordered a cappuccino and a white mocha, which were both nice. I have never seen a white mocha on a menu before so I had to try it, and it was so delicious! The place had very cool vibes with an old industrial feel and mismatched furniture. They also had nice and clean bathrooms which was a plus. The only downside for me was that due to the open nature of the place they didn't have air-con, just large fans, so on a hot day it was a bit sweaty. Overall, highly recommend.
The green tea matcha latte tastes quality and it was served in a massive cup. It was so good I had to come back and get another! Yum yum I love the couches here too and the Japanese food Vegetarian options: Tofu
Lovely cafe, Japanese themed but has western food as well, staff are friendly and service is quality, I recommend the prawn dog if you are after a meal and the matcha iced latte is delicious!
What better place to go with friends, children and dogs!? Great, funky atmosphere. It's like being in a big shed with happy dogs and children, delicious food and lovely hosts. Very Japanese in all the best ways. Menu also satisfies the less adventurous:-. I absolutely love this place and the people who run it. Food is a great cross between Japanese and Australian. Coffee is good, service is excellent and it is always a very warm welcome. Nowhere else like this in Newcastle. The other day my friend had scrambled eggs, I had a prawn dog and our little friend had a hotdog. Not only was food delicious but also with quirky little Japanese aditions, such as frozen jelly desserts on our little friends plate. Ninja the dog, had a puppuccino and it was so beautiful! But I didn't even get a photo because he was so busy drinking it and licking the bowl for ages.
A great place to go for a little taste of Japan. Friendly staff, great food and a real authentic matcha latte. Loved the dog friendly aspect as well. Definitely recommend!
Quite and interesting Japanese fusion restaurant. I prefer the more Japanese dishes myself but enjoyed seeing a Japanese spin on common western dishes. The matcha tea latte was a good way to start my day. The shed environment certainly gave the place a lot of character.
Went here with work colleagues about 10 of us. Didn't have to wait too long for meals to arrive - food was fresh and very tasty - no complaints in our group and we all had something different! Great venue in refurbished warehouse.
Had the fish katsu don. It was one of the most delicious and satisfying things I have ever eaten. Accompanied it with an Asahi beer, which was a great combo. Went back the next day and had a mocha, and that was also top notch. Staff were very friendly and service was prompt. Highly recommended.
Cafe Inu is so cool. The food is always so good, the coffee is great and the atmosphere is chilled. Gotta love a cafe that is so dog friendly that they have "ice cream" for dogs! The wood fire in winter keeps it cosy too. Kid-friendliness: They have a play area for kids with toys to play with as well. Parking: Easy street side parking Wheelchair accessibility: All on one level with no steps to the main area.
We loved this unique cafe with it's  mismatched furniture, Japanese inspired menu and plenty of room to spread out. Food is delicious and great value! Dogs are more than welcome outside and there's even a few dog friendly tables inside - what a refreshing change! FYI - the dog friendly seating is on the right hand side as you enter the cafe.
