I passed several times past this restaurant and only recently decided to give it a try. My goodness what a delight! Such a beautiful interior, friendly staff and fantastic food. Such a variety of all great tasting dishes. My kids and I loved it and we will come back for sure. Highly recommend.
Satay, Beef Rendang, Sambal Udang and lamb are all excellent. Properly seasoned like they should! The boss lady speaks TWO Asian languages Malay and Tagalog plus Dutch and English, so she was really pleasant to talk to for our group. And she is also quite considerate for allergies and dietary restrictions, making substitutions when asked. Also, generous portions. Will go back here!
The food was very delicious, especially their satés. It has the taste of the real Malaysian food. The price was affordable. Staff was very friendly, she even gave us a treat for our anniversary. If you love Malaysian food, I highly recommending this place.
Really good food. The menu has many options single menu and menus for a big group so you need to look up the options carefully. But the satay sauce is the best I ever had. The waitress mentioned that they make every single sauce themselves. Hence the randang sauce was really really good. Definitely recommend the satay mix for starters. Also an many vegetarian options.
Very delicious, great atmosphere, beautiful decor. Id love a bit more special drinks on the menu but overall great experience. Would definitely go again
Cozy place with amazing top interieur. The food were very delicious and the saté with peanut saus was very tasty. I feel home when in dining here because of Rosalie the owner. She know how to take care her cliënt. The place are cleaned and so with the toilet. I highly recommend.
A very nice place for fine food. Perfectly served with matching vegetables and, for me, fried rice and curry sauce. Starters: fried shrimps Main course: Victoria bass source Australia Very acceptable price / quality / quantity Nice interior that differs somewhat from the classic rectilinear.
Good hawker food. Satay great even. Peanut saus excellent. Nasi lemak very nice, but no sambal? home made nasi lemak sambal is a must and an art. Had a stingray soup. Ordered it as stingray with saus. Not bad. Claypot could have a more charred flavor. Cave like interior, nice elements but also felt like a cluttered theme. Menu, plenty of choice, needed a minute to get the overview. Service was ok, a bit rushed, which is typical for hawker food places in KL, great authenticity?
First impression, the restaurant looked cosy. But when we had to wait for quite some time for our food, we started to notice how dark the restaurant is and too many main deco. Music played was from the 80s, 90s, MJ, Madonna, Olivia NJ. Perhaps playing traditional Malay music/instrumental would be more appropriate. The lady owner, I suppose took our order and was quite abrupt with answering our queries. And of course, in the end, the food served wasn't what we had in mind and of mediocre taste personal opinion. I noticed that she was more friendly towards her regular guests. We, on the other hand, were not asked how the food was, if we wanted something more or any drinks. For us, it's 'been there, done that' kind of experience. Too bad it doesn't represent a true hospitality of the Malaysian culture.
Hello, me and my parents just had dinner at this restaurant. What a disappointment! Me and my mom ordered a "Nasi Goreng" see enclosed picture. There was no sauce in it, not even a soya sauce. It was tasteless! Nothing to do with a real Nasi Goreng.
