We had an amazing time at Bushaven. It is set in such a picturesque setting offering some truly unique experiences. Our hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help us and I would highly recommend Bushaven. Thanks heaps!

Bushaven has a magic setting and offers a good selection of accommodation options. Their location makes Bushaven an excellent jumping off point for a wide range of outdoor pursuits including cycling, hiking, fishing and hunting. They also offer a shuttle service for cyclists. John and Virginia are lovely hosts with a wealth of local knowledge to share.

100% recommend the Motu shuttle service and Pakihi trail.

Absolutely loved this little piece of paradise. 6 families headed there from around the North Island for my 40th celebrations and had a fantastic time. We used the camping ground with ample room for our tents and space for the kids to have a blast. We all enjoyed the stream adventures, waterfall walk, glow worms and so much more. Loved the place and highly recommend to all. The camp site actually has a lot of things already in place with basic pots, pans and a BBQ. The two fridge/freezers allow plenty of space for food and beverages. The whole place is Kiwi Rustic (a good thing) and keep very tidy. A must do for a few days away from the world!

A piece of paradise. We didn't even have enough time to take in all the beauty of this place. We did however experience some amazing hospitality - from John - and cannot wait to be back to stay. I fell in love with the wee dog and our view from wee house was breath taking. This place is totally off the beaten track, but is totally worth finding!!!!! Will be back, thats for sure :)
