Stayed in the cabins this week with friends, awesome cabins! Brought back childhood memories from 70s & 80s when we came here with our parents 2nd visit in 2 months Would have stayed longer but booked out for Waitangi weekend Planning another trip soon before end of summer Showers need adjusting for us vertically challenged people
What a great place to bring your family, we stayed in a cabin and throughly enjoyed every moment of our short stay. We made the trip a week or so after new years so familys were packing up, The camp grounds were quiet which we liked, we will definitely be back.
Very lovely motor camp, dog friendly. Great fishing and kaimoana gathering. Classic old school, kitchen and shower,laundry facilities but very clean. Beautiful outlook of the estuary and small walk to the sea towards Maketú. Peaceful and àtaahua place.

Location is lovely, but the amenities are terrible - very old, and grotty. Gaps in the doors, so you can be seen sitting doing your business. Difficult to wash your hands as one hand must be holding the tap on position.. Sanitary products must be put in the bin outside the toilet - what young girl wants to do this? The showers are hopeless for short women.
Great location, right on the beach. The holiday park was clean and tidy, basic necessities all there. Sad the takeaways weren't open but maketu close by takeaways were great!
My wife and I love it here , weather wasn't the best but a good book and good food is all we needed , highly recommend Bledisloe Holiday Park , Bubs and Ian are top people. Looking forward to our next down time.
