When our father died recently there was no other funeral director we were going to go to. Burstows showed us compassion from the very beginning. They were caring, professional, courteous and I cannot recommend them enough. Iain was absolutely amazing.
Our family recently lost our father. From the first phone call,Burstows looked after every detail and patiently walked us through all the processes. Their experience was evident, as was their commitment to our family. It was reassuring and comforting to know they were walking this journey with us. We highly recommend them in your time of sorrow and loss.
Staff at Burstows were amazing. Mum had a pre-paid plan elsewhere but they were happy to undertake all the negotiations to ensure a smooth transition for the family. They were available to answer questions at any time and extremely helpful and supportive. They were also considerably cheaper than some of the others and YES - this was an important consideration for my parents in their day!
With the recent death of my mother, we Immediately chose Burstows and placed our much loved Mum in their care, and from the very moment they arrived right through to the final farewell and beyond, the care, support, professionalism, understanding and respect shown by every person we had contact with at Burstows in Toowoomba was world class.When faced with the most difficult time in life, they made us feel like family, and they shared in our grief and offered a level of service unparalleled anywhere. This family company deserves so much praise, and our family is so grateful and so thankful to the team and management at Burstows, we are eternally grateful for the way you made saying goodbye to our Mother a beautiful and memorable experience. Nothing was too much trouble and the support continues weeks after the final farewell. God bless each and every one of you, don't change a thing in what you do, it is a real blessing to us all. Shane and the Staff were just amazing . Through this very difficult time they made this process so much easier with their very caring and genuine natures . I could not speak more highly of them .
The use of the Reflection Lounge for the intimate family ceremony was such a beautiful suggestion by Trevor. In a private safe place we cried, we laughed and we reflected on the wonderful life we had shared. As I drove home I saw the autumn leaves and felt at peace.
Our Family could not be more thankful to Burstows and their team. Highly recommend them to anyone! In one of the hardest times of our lives, Burstows really took the weight off our shoulders and made the whole process so much easier. Big shout out to Shane and the team who went above and beyond - your professionalism, your patience, no task or question was ever too hard, you all really listened to every attention to detail, thank you for really caring, for taking us through every step and for making a lifetime memory of our mum. Every phone call, every interaction was more than just a simple conservation - but the way you guys really showed compassion helped us get through the grieving process. Also, a huge thank you and job well done to the team who got mum ready for her viewing the day before the funeral - we were blown away on how our mum looked, she looked exactly like she did in her prime - so beautiful - it was our mum! Thank you! The day of the funeral itself was just so phenomenally amazing and beautiful, it was perfect - There is nothing worse than losing someone you love - but words cannot express how thankful we are - this is truely something we will cherish for a lifetime - the impact you have made in our lives is unbelievable. Good Morning Burstows Funeral, I would like to compliment your professional services from start to end of our experience, from the moment we parked our car to the end of our Mums service Sharyn was just incredible, she is such a caring person when family are dealing with a loved ones dying. Margie the celebrant was also so caring and engaging with our family. I can only express my gratitude to Burstows for such a wonderful celebration of Mums day. I would recommend everyone to use this service.
We recently lost a loved one aunty Selma and we decided to ask Burstows to help us organise the funeral. From the beginning until the end Louisa helped us through everything. Louisa was very compassionate and caring and gave us the time we needed. Louisa made everything easier for us at this difficult time. I totally recommend Burstows for compassion. Di and Karen.
Burstow funerals services I have rated 5 star's which I would never do, but for me on the saddest day of my life Burstow funerals helped in giving my son the most beautiful service that I have ever experienced, I felt at peace in saying goodbye. Thank you Scott and your team.
