My mother has been in Bupa Runaway for some years now and is currently living in the Memory Support Unit.nMy 5 stars are for the staff I see weekly in the MSU. Many of them have looked after mum for several years consistently. They are always patient and kind and helpful. They are attentive to Mum's needs and have built a lovely relationship with her, even though I can see that they are busy all of the time. They like to have fun with Mum and help me and keep me informed of her needs.nI so appreciate each of them.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a beautiful smile which made us feel welcome right away. Despite not having an appointment and not wanting to fill out any paperwork, Mandy, who assisted us, accommodated our last-minute request for a tour without any hesitation. She was incredibly calm, professional, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the home with ease.nnThe home itself is open and spacious, with a big beautiful garden .We noticed plenty of residents and staff laughing and enjoying their time, which gave the entire place a warm and happy atmosphere. Mandy even offered for my Mom to join in on some activities in future to help her get a real feel for the home, which was a thoughtful gesture that I appreciated.nnWe left feeling very impressed and at ease. This facility clearly takes great care of its residents, and the staff's professionalism and kindness really stood out to us. Thank you for such a positive experience. Will be in touch once Mom is ready
My grandmother is at Bupa Runaway Bay, and I couldn’t be happier with her care. The staff are warm and attentive, and the facility is clean and welcoming. There are plenty of activities that keep residents engaged and active. It’s a wonderful place for her, and I highly recommend it!
We would like to acknowledge the extraordinary support and care shown to mum and our family during this most difficult of times.nnA massive thank you to the nurse assistants, carers, nurses, the catering and lifestyle teams, and all the ward staff for your compassion, professionalism, and your dedication to this essential and challenging work. Thank you also to the staff at BUPA who know mum and have constantly called in to check on her and make her smile. The dignifying and humanising care you each provide to all the residents is seen and valued beyond all measure. Each of you is a credit to your chosen profession. Thank you all. My Mother has been a resident at Bupa Runaway Bay for 9 years. I reside in New Zealand and as you can imagine its very important to know my Mother is taken exceptional care of.nI come to Australia yearly to visit my Mother and I have never been dissapointed with any of the care Mum recieves. The staff ranging from from Management through to the Carers are all amazing.nThe enviroment is very welcoming and the staff take the time to interact with family members of all residents. The Lifestyle staff are fabulous and ensure the residents have alot of different activities. I want to acknowledge Mandy Manager Ning Lifestyle and all the staff at Bupa for doing such a great job. Thankyou for treating my Mother and all the residents as Family.
