The community is more like a large family, from the office to maintenance to care givers to dining staff, they are all helpful, friendly caring people willing to make sure our stay is comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and well maintained with lots of easy walks on the canal edges and through gardens. We don’t want for anything, this is our “Final Home” and we are happy

When choosing TriCare Runaway Bay as our retirement  home it ticked all the boxes . Friendly and helpful staff - nothing to much trouble for them - near to shops - transport - doctors - security.  On our first day here while still unpacking our neighbour asked us to join them for drinks at Happy Hour where we met many friendly people - - then we new we had made the right choice - plus many activities to join in -  beautiful well maintained gardens.  We are extremely happy with our choice of our new home

I've found it to be the most amazing place to live.  It's like living in a little community all on its own, without the hassles and stresses of life, as the staff take care of all your needs.  There's a abundance and variety of activities to get involved in, if that's what your needs are.  When I go out my door, I always run into someone I know who's up for a chat, so I never, ever feel lonely.  The Village is well set out over a wide area with well manicured lawns and gardens together with ample room to swing a multitude of cats!  My 92 year old Mum lives here too, in independent living.  If Mum requires future nursing care, it's right next door, so I'm able to continue my visits with her.  The safety and security I feel in living at TriCare Runaway Bay Retirement Community gives me such peace of mind which only adds to my well-being, health and happiness.  I would highly recommend anyone check out this TriCare facility and that's why I've given it 5 out of 5!

I have been living at Tri Care at Runaway Bay for over two years now and I have never felt more settled or secure. It's a wonderful community environment with close proximity to shops doctors and the sparking Broadwater and restaurants.nA walk around the canal always delights with birds and sea life going about their own daily rituals.nStaff and management are always courteous and willing to help with my needs. Light bulb blown? Just call maintenance and it's fixed!nI have no hesitation recommending the village and have done so to two friends who have moved in and are very happy with their choice and are still friends!nnCome for a visitnWendy Mackenzie
