I am having to write this anonymously as my mother still resides with this facility and after pleading with her to leave she won’t because she loves her carers and nurses there and she feels like she is abandoning them if she goes. Recently this facility has had a lot of patients who have passed. After giving my condolences to one of the family members I was appalled to learn the day her father passed away she received a call from the facility manager stating she had 24hours to get everything out. She did not receive any support emotionally just a time frame THE VERY DAY HER FATHER PASSED AWAY. I have seen this place go down hill since the current facility manger took over so many unfortunate resignations from amazing long time staff members. I will continue to plead with my mother because as much as the day she passes will be tough I do not want to ever feel like she did not matter. The carers and nurses make this facility amazing but for how much longer depends on Arcare choice to keep this current facility manager.
Amazing residence! great staff,very kind and caring and take pride in their work. Clean and modern environment with a cafe on site too. Grandma loves it there.
