I had such a positive experience with Eunika at Silverdale Bunny’s. thisWednesday evening at about 7pm ish.nnI went in to purchase outdoor solar lights for my electrician, who was already on site waiting to install them. Unfortunately, I realised at the counter that I had forgotten my wallet. To make things worse, I wasn’t familiar with how to use Google Pay and felt quite flustered.nnWhile another younger staff member simply said he didn’t know how to help and left it at that, Eunika truly went above and beyond. She was incredibly patient, stayed calm, and took the time to help me figure out a solution so I could pay for the goods on the spot. She didn’t rush me or make me feel embarrassed — instead, she genuinely tried to problem-solve and make sure I wasn’t stuck.nnHer attitude, patience, and willingness to help made all the difference. Outstanding customer service like this deserves recognition. Thank you, Eunika — you turned a stressful moment into a positive experience.
No matter what day of the week you go in, am always surprised how they have dozens of staff beavering away in all sections of the store. They are all super helpful and know how to lean on each other to solve problems for the customer. Great teamwork. The sausage sizzles are pretty solid. But best of all the prices are pretty hard to beat. Overall it feels like they have provided a nice work environment for the workers, and in turn they are very lovely toward the customer
I don’t know how to say this, but Jacqui from the Paint aisle, Glen the plumber, and another staff member from the Tools aisle I didn’t catch his name are honestly the best.nI went in feeling stressed because the kitchen faucet had come loose, and the landlord expected me to fix it even though it wasn’t leaking or broken it just had simply become loose over time and this type of maintenance is the landlord’s responsibility. I tried to talk back with that landlord but she denied my response. Also, Im about to move out and if I couldn’t get it fixed, Im afraid that I wont get my bond back. This is my first time renting a room and share the place with the landlord too.nAfter I explained what had happened, the staffs Jacqui & Glen patiently instructed me how to fix it myself and even gave me the tools I needed for free. nThey genuinely felt sorry for my situation and told me that the landlord is greedy and trying to take advantage from me.nnI got home and followed their advice now my faucet is finally tighten, and I honestly can’t thank them enough for being kind and willingness to help.nThey really made my day. I feel so grateful meeting kind people.
Their tool selection is shockingly disappointing. I went there with a list of 8 items just standard everyday tools that I needed and they stocked a total of 1. Simple things like a 7 and 8mm socket for a hex driver. They seem to only stock imperial sizes in socket hex drivers? How ridiculous is that? They also dont stock just basic socket drivers. Their entire collection of screwdrivers is one small shelf.nI was also looking for a 2,5 and 3mm hex bits for a driverAllen key style. Nothing! The best you can do is buy an entire set to get those two sizes and then it's the short bits that do not latch. Definitely time for a new tool supplier. This is shocking.
I had a really great customer service experience with Jack at Bunnings Silverdale today. He was very friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the entire return process. There was a small mistake, and he apologized several times and handled everything in a way that made me feel very comfortable and taken care of.nnI truly appreciate his attitude and support. Staff like Jack make a big difference, and I think the store would benefit from having more young team members with his level of customer service.nnIf you visit Bunnings Silverdale and need help, Jack is definitely the best person to ask for.
