Absolutely pathetic behaviour from the owner I assume older lady would not let my girlfriend in the shop even though she had a mask exemption for medical reasons, as soon as my girlfriend steps foot in the door she’s told “where’s your mask? No exception your not allowed in.” Don’t spend a cent of your money here, I won’t be supporting this small business ever again Sort your attitude out if your gonna own a store, thought someone would of learnt manners by that age.
Nice book shop, nice feel to be in there and definitely a good variety of books. Could work on politeness in dealing with customers, she came across a bit rude, definitely put a damper of the experience.

Very happy with this little 2nd hand bookshop. Open on Matariki, mask provided when I didn't have my own, found a book I'd been looking for along with delightful banter with the owner. Nicely done.
Rude owner. Won’t spend my money in a store where my money is not wanted. Too many businesses are desperate for cash right now, on the verge of gong under, and then you get owners like this one, happy to turn away good customers. Go figure!
What a little gem! I’m so thrilled that we stopped and had a look inside, we found some incredible little puzzles and books for my young son. Prices are great! Can’t wait till our next trip to Orewa. We will definitely come back.
I love second hand book stores! You never know what you’ll find. Anne really knows her literature and is great for advice on books. She knows her catalogue well and has some really neat finds. I can not recommend this store enough!
New favourite bookshop! Full of such gems and classics. All prices were so good for the books. Can't wait to visit again and get my next read :
