The staff and customer service were great, however there's been 2 occasions where their online website shows they have a plant in stock only to show up and been none left. Also it's saddening to see they don't know how to look after Venus' flytraps see picture
This review is solely based on this branch's customer service we have received the previous few times we have been into the store. I have taken an average approach. Helpful floor staff are hard to find. The majority of them seem to be in a rush and aren't very helpful. I don't know what the rush is? Maybe the staff aren't trained properly on the areas they are looking after or they really can't be bothered helping with general/specific questions. I would recommend a training course implemented here on basic customer skills. The store itself is nice and neat. You'll generally find everything you are looking for here but it would be really helpful if floor staff would up their game.
Great selection of products and good prices. This time I went there I asked for assistance, they called out over the load speaker to come and help out at the security camera area. Waited and Waited in the end asked the 3 staff chatting to each other in the tool area just a few meters away. Turned out they could of helped all along and had the keys to the cupboards. All 3 staff tried to give the job to each other before one of them actually helped. I would be horrified if they were staff working for me.
Needed a tool and was at a nearby cafe, so called in to Bunnings. They had what I wanted, so was on my way in quick time. Good stock range, pleasant, helpful staff. Plenty of parking up top or underneath. Two good things about Bunnings, always have cheap coffee and clean toilets.
Big THANK YOU to Chris Morris, he helped me a lot with the foam board thing - move it to my car and got it cut when he realized it’s not gonna fit. Very patient and friendly. Appreciate that. Also thanks to the other staff who introduced Chris to help me. He helped me find what I needed and brought it downstairs to the cashier. Thanks guys.
Absolutely appalling customer service in the timber yard. The few times I have shopped here I have never been offered any assistance with lifting of heavy wet timber, timber that well exceeds the one man lift weight limit. It’s now got to the point that whilst I’m clearly struggling to lift lengths out of the racks staff will make eye contact with me and then proceed to walk straight past me. At all opposition hardware stores placemakers, mitre 10 I do not have this issue as staff are very friendly and willing to offer assistance. Very disappointed with my experience.
Visited last Sunday and yesterday to order blinds from the store, Dan was very helpful and patient to listen what I need. He tries his best to help me out even his field is not in blinds section. I think he works in Tool section. But I can feel his kindness and respect to people. Mt Roskill store is one of my favorite stores even other store is closer to me, because of the people like Dan makes me feel welcomed.
The cost of living and inflation crisis is truly reflected in the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle. My lover and I came here for a hungover Saturday morning sausage and plant browse only to find that the once $2 sausages are now $2.50. We did not carry 50c coins. The line was very long and we were very sad and could not afford a sausage so we did not get a sausage. They smelt great and the store has a very good orphanage. 5 stars but only because we understand these are unprecedented times
Loads of underground and store level parking. Large elevator, ramp and stairs to get between both. Huge store. Well lit and well set out with wide aisles that make for ease of traversing, even when busy. Helpful service from staff.
Very helpful staff. Coffee shop inside as well as a playground to keep the kids occupied while you do "adult stuff"! Also has some Cool.§Kids diy in the weekend.
