I was very impressed with the staffs knowledge and enthusiasm as well as willingness to assist. While they were extremely helpful, they were never pushy and left me to browse without hovering. What impressed me most was when a young chap had already clocked off for the night but as there was a slight queue (2 people long) at the checkouts he was prepared to jump in and help anyway. I’ll be coming back! Thanks everyone and Merry Christmas 😊

Poor service and staff attitude. Rung the bell at paint department 3 times and waited. Found a staff member and asked for some help in the paint department. He said to ring the bell and wait... after explaining we had done this already he said they were all to busy serving customers, as he carried on sweeping... and the shop was empty!! Eventually we got some wrong advice from a helpful staff member that wasn't confident to mix the paint. Luckily the staff member mixing the the paint asked us some more questions and we got the right paint and prevented a $400 mistake. A pretty disappointing experience...

As a local construction company we highly recommend the grove mitre 10 to all tradies. Most mitre 10s are focussed on retail and lack a good trade department. The guys in the yard are amazing and the trade reps go the extra mile. Keep up the good work!

Their gardening centre and paint section are the tops in Auckland. Wonderful advice and super helpful staff.
