Amazing experience here today. My toddler loves the play area also he threw a massive tantrum in the store and I was offered a free coffee and given a Bunnings toy to help calm him. Lovely and considerate staff thanks guys for helping a mama out !
I went to Bunnings Grey Lynn on 15th Dec. Graeme was the support person at the entrance. I wanted a Carpet Sweeper and he gave me direction to the aisle where the product was shelved. When I got to the aisle there were 4 young people sorting and loading the shelves. They searched and found the last carpet sweeper on the shelf. I hadn't seen it. Very pleasant and helpful team. The Special Orders desk isn’t a great place to order items. More than two months ago my husband and I placed an order for several different items to be delivered. We knew some of the items we ordered would need to be back ordered and were told a week, two at most. Some of our items were delivered right away, but others that were in stock were held back to wait for other back ordered items. Upon trying to sort out what was going on with our order we were ignored. I left five or so messages for call backs and when I did manage to talk to someone they never got back to me, I had to badger the poor staff for a week straight before I got any answers. In order to have our in stock items delivered we had to cancel part of our order and go to Mitre 10 to get what we needed. In the case of our second order, we were told two weeks, then that was extended by another week, then another two weeks. With this order we had to cancel it entirely and go to a Bunnings that had the item in stock to be delivered the next day. If you want to use Special Orders, go to a different store.
Great place for all your tool needs and very knowledge friendly staff. My 2 yr old daughter loves pushing the kid trolley around and helping and seeing the dogs around the shop.
I needed some kitchen cabinets, the 3 young lads in the kitchen department were so helpful grey Lynn see them for your kitchen needs best service ever
excellent range and prices! there is a weird policy where the person at the entrance will scan your receipt even though they literally just watched you check out, but I really appreciate that the rest of the staff will just let you browse in peace and check you out efficiently and with a probably high lol smile!!
You can find many interesting things there, from a variety of beautiful plants and pots to many professional DIY materials. Moreover, I enjoyed watching some beautiful classic rugs that I never thought I could find in New Zealand.
I could walk around bunnings for days and not get sick of it. So much to look at and discover if you're a amateur wanna be DIY nutter like myself, and I'm always finding employees are very helpful in suggesting ideas or just helping you with what you need. DIY dream world lol.
Customer service guy downstairs timber/trade told me there is no treated dressed timber in the size I need nor upstairs either. Thought that was odd, so checked upstairs , and of course there is. The exact size and length I needed. Cheers .
Got helped by a friendly staff member who showed me a couple of options of what i needed. They were very polite but i can’t remember thier name otherwise id shout them out but they worked in the power tools department
