BIG STORE! You'll need your running or comfy shoes as you will want to explore the 2 extremities. Trade one end, Nursery & outdoor the other end. I saw plenty of staff chatting as they were re-stocking , but there were also many spots of missing product on the shelves.nThis could be due to supply shortage, but I had to help myself to product on the top shelf where the boxes had not been broken down and put on display. It could be staff shortage, or even the end of year rush could be to blame. Whatever the cause, management had no fix in place...nMy exit was also unusual. I use the app and pay before I exit, but the person at the end seemed more interested in watching the carpark, and not attending to the paying or in my case - paid! customer.nI still like Bunnings. I will go back. I hope in the new year, I have a better experience.
Some staff extremely helpful, occasionally you’ll get someone who does not care or want to help. We went to the paint shop to get paint mixed and were told we couldn’t get it mixed coz it could explode, which is fair enough we don’t want anyone to get hurt, but next day we went again and different person said, as long as you’ve purchased from us we’d mix paint.nnMixed messages.
I had an absolutely terrible experience at the store today, and I will definitely not be coming back here. I came in specifically looking for an item I had seen online and asked the front desk person for help. While she did point me towards the correct aisle, I unfortunately couldn't find the item I was looking for. When I managed to get the attention of one of the staff who was busy unpacking stock, he seemed incredibly annoyed that I had interrupted him and was completely unhelpful in locating the item I needed. He directed me to the service desk, which took another frustrating 15 minutes of waiting to get to. Finally, they found the item in the back storage area. When I opened the unsealed box to ensure everything was in order, I noticed that the battery cover had popped off, so I took it out to investigate. That's when a staff member named Connell approached me and rudely informed me that I shouldn't be opening the box and that it's not allowed. I explained that I simply wanted to make sure the item was in good working order since I lived far away, but he was completely unprofessional throughout the conversation and said this is not an excuse to open the box and kept bouncing a red ball in his hands while we spoke. After some back and forth, I decided to go back to the front desk and ask for help with the item since the battery cover kept popping out of the base. Even the team at the front desk had a hard time installing the back cover back, and they said the item could be faulty and apologized. If I hadn't checked the item, I would have wasted my time coming back to exchange it. If Bunnings doesn't want customers to open their merchandise, why not put a tape over the boxes like in other countries so that people know it's not allowed? Having a team member act in an authoritative manner to call out customers doing what they believe is right is not acceptable, and treating customers poorly is never okay.
This Bunnings used to be the best with all 5-start staff.nBut can you please stop hiring mannerless betches to ruin your own reputation?nI Made a purchase at 1.08pm on 20 July 2024. The woman was very good at rolling eyes and acting rude.
