Wanting to express my gratitude for Kerrie in the paint department, and also Adam who initially helped me Kerrie went above and beyond to help me select the right paints/ prep and finishing products and spent so much time educating me on exactly what to do. I felt so confident leaving the store, and the results with my Dulux products - well they speak for themselves ! Highly recommended for all your paint / Reno needs.
I've recently moved into a new house in Hervey Bay and have been spending A Lot of time in Bunnings! I'd like to say a huge thanks to the wonderful help I've had from staff there. I'm afraid I keep forgetting to check the name tags, so can't mention people by name, but I value greatly the advice I've had on buying – specifically – a lawn mower, strimmer and paint for kitchen cupboards. The advice in each of these situations has felt genuine and suited to my requirements, rather than just attempts to push the most expensive product. It's daunting shopping for items outside of your area of expertise, so this is really fantastic service. What's more, I'll keep returning, which I wouldn't if I felt like I was being ripped off.
Rocked up to bunnings Hervey bay today and was immediately greeted by the local trolly trooper on shift and we introduced ourselves and I asked him where the soaker hoses were and he was able to tell me straight away! He walked me to the aisle and I told him that I needed a new tip for my hose, and without hesitation he guided my hands to his tip and told me to grab it before someone else can! I could not be more happy with the store and the top-notch staff with the best quality tips, would 100% recommend and WILL be going back
Having not long ago moved to Hervey Bay, I have been to this store nearly every day. I recently purchased an electrical item pressure washer which failed after 2 uses so I returned it. I replaced it with the 'most expensive' version of this item and that failed out of the box. I called Bunnings HB and dealt with one of the managers named Matt and that man went far and above to ensure the level of customer service was maintained. He did an amazing job and because of this, I really felt the need to put up this review. Thanks Matt and Bunnings HB
For the third time have wasted my time and an hour and a half round trip. Checked online before I left that all the items that I required were in stock. Website listed all items and components as in stock at the store. On arrival at the store, 2/3 of the components needed for construction were out of stock. Very frustrating.
