Like most reviewers we had a similar experience. The product arrived well after the promised delivery date 3 months later than promised- so we waited a total of 7 months from our order date to receive the product. The main excuses for delays had to do with their warehouse manager being out or unavailable. Once the product was shipped they could not provide me with tracking details or give me any sort of time frame as to when the bunk beds would arrive at our house. But, worst of all was when we went to assemble the bunk beds. We ordered two bunk beds for the same room. When we went to assemble them the colours for the bunk beds were completely different! We ordered the bunks in the colour Milan. Below you can see the colour discrepancy in what they sent. The response I got from Bunkers was " Natural timber variations result in unique tone, depth and grain for every piece of furniture". These are not even close to a timber variation- and everyone who walks into the room immediately notices that they are different colours. I would never recommend anyone order beds from Bunkers- not only is the customer service team unhelpful- the quality of the bunks was extremely disappointing.
Unfortunately we are another family who have waited and waited and waited; we ordered in March and are still, in late June, yet to receive the triple bunk bed. We’ve paid over $1800 and the newly decorated room has been without a bed for over 3 months now. Don’t order and pay upfront until it is clear that the wait times have been resolved.
Used to be locally made with great friendly personal service. NOW MADE IN CHINA. Plenty of excuses for shipping delays but this would not happen if they were still locally made. I would have paid more just to keep the brand in Australia. Do not buy from here any more. You’ll be months waiting
